The only actual downgrades are no optically stabilized video, no SD card slot, and no ANT+, and thicker bezels (the last of which is actually an upgrade for some people, and tbf no microSD is a bummer but still). The S21, meanwhile, has a faster processor, faster storage, a 256GB option, a lower starting price tag (possibly to make up for the barely-even-real-let-alone-severe "downgrades"), GG Victus for the display, a slightly brighter display, and it'll get an extra year of software updates. Wow, such a downgrade, ffs.

Great battery life, great Snapdragon 865 performance.
Only drawback was touchscreen issues that were fixed on my phone after the March 2021 security patch.

Samsung s20 fe battery drains so quickly nd the phone overheat quickly I have one not even two weeks and the battery drains from the first day I started using this phone ...very disappointed in samsung

It's brilliant reading all the comments but there's also naivety throughout here.
Xiaomi don't spend as much on advertisements nor does it have stores and employees in those stores across many countries, here in the UK is an example, the reason behind Samsung and Apple being so well known and chosen here.
Not that I think Samsung and Apple are perfect but it just goes to show how Brand also plays a part in the choice made for a mobile.
If I had to say anything about the rumoured Galaxy S21 FE is that Samsung are allowing the handset to be very mudded amongst the rest of the Galaxy Lineup, simply using a Snapdragon chipset does NOT make it a good choice, the S20 FE and it's well documented display problems exemplifies this further.
Samsung seemingly refuse to refine each device and constantly try leaping instead of stepping..
I see within the comments someone has yet again mentioned the Plastic Rear on the S21, I get that many may put a case on the phone and therefore it doesn't matter, it's not quite as simple as that.
Maintaining premium quality is something Samsung are failing drastically at and on a flagship device it's something that absolutely should not be expected of a flagship costing X amounts more that previous flagships from recent years, plastic doesn't give that impression even if you can't feel the cold glass through a case, simply the knowledge of it being plastic erodes at the "flagship" moniker that the S-Series should be maintaining.
The Exynos 1080 is easily good enough to be a flagship chipset inside the S21 FE in 2021, with a 120Hz display that would work correctly, I highly expect that the 1080 is superiorly cheaper to implement than the SD870 being it the fact that the 1080 is manufactured by Samsung itself, that would open more money to offer Gorilla Glass on this phone.
End of the day having an "e" or "FE" model attached to the S-Series dilutes the S-Series further away from being a flagship device.
