Anonymous, 27 Apr 2021Realistically, how many have S20 phones and are happy with ... moreI understand what you saying and agree but my point isn't about if the chip is 'good enough' which like you say for 99% of the folks who bought one it will be, but it has been shown in various tests that the Snapdragon in the S20 FE is an all round better chip than the exynos and therefore the exynos is an inferior product. Therefore Samsung should be honest enough to acknowledge that in some way. Imagine if you went and bought an fhd TV and after getting it home find out the same company makes the exact same model but with a quad HD resolution for the same price? Wouldn't you be a bit upset by that and I understand why folks who do understand the differences in tech specs to be upset by being forced to buy an exynos S20 FE outside the USA and then Samsung rub it in your face by releasing the Snapdragon version globally.

    Propoganda from reviewist and tech nerds are what make the Exynos 990 perhaps a poorer choice for hardcore users, but for many it'll be a fine chip for the average user who still wants a flagship, the Exynos 1080 & 2100 certainly seem to have narrowed the gap for power users.

    At this point, 2021, it's only Snapdragon propoganda now..

            One year try using xiaomi, and than comeback using samsung S series again. Even the price tag of samsung more higher than other competitor, but for me samsung is more better for daily professional, productivity, security. rather then xiaomi with their incredible ads like even you turn off it will switch on by itself sometimes, and run something on the background that we don't know, and bad software update in my experience. If you have more budget go for samsung, and you will get good experience for the next 2 year with it. This is my experience and my opinion using of those brand. Cheers :)

Admittedly I've only been using it since miui 12 on a Poco X3 NFC but it's been a pleasure to use and works absolutely fine. I get all my notifications, it has some great features and seems fast and fluid and I came from a stock Android phone. I think some folks just churn out what other people write in comments without trying it for themselves.

                            Sort of a flagship killer and you say this to a plastic made phone for 750 bucks initial price in my country.
                            Every other chinese company can make a lot better device from much more premium materials than plastic for a lot cheaper price.
                            Someone goes nuts i see.

                                  Price it at 500 USD with snapdragon 870/780G and you are good to go. Keep everything exact same as S20 FE 5G.
