Nokia announces XpressMusic 5320 and 5220

When i read the news at gsmarena about the music smart phone that too bar shaped, i was very excited in fact nokia should abandon s40 software and instead concentrate and improve on s60 software. . . Having used s60 it is difficult to go back to s40 otherwise i liked the 5310 expressmusic but s40 software has its limitations. . .

look at the reality..
the 5610 and 5310 are easily banished by a single phone: W910i
There is no record that the so-called express music outsells SE's Walkman. But the opposites occured... Especially in europe

i appreciate that nokia now release phone with different flavors (s60 and s40). i just hope that they incorporate auto focus on their cam asap.

2 very good handsets from Nokia an looks like there getting bothered at last about the batterylife ,People choose there own type of mobiles they like so all the Sony Ericsson fanatics just stop slagging Nokia down as they can easily outsell Sony Ericsson

Nokia's still not evoluting ,,,
We need music phones with autofocus Camera /// We all need it!

Audio chips are for marketing tricks. Eg. Nokia 5700 pales in comparison with SE w610 audio quality.

I cant believe how shortsighted a lot of people on this site are.
SOME people buy a phone for the (amazing) specs it has.
MOST people buy a phone for the way it looks!
Duh, the 5310, 5610, 5230 and 5220 look a little bit alike and are comparable if you look at the stats, but the CUSTOMER doesn't care a bit about this, because they dont know the stats like an encyclopedia (and me, and some of you). For them the phone is a PERSONAL item.
For other matters, its not just Nokia who has greatly comparable stats in its new models.
I myself am a big Sony Ericsson fan, but if i compare the few latest models in the W series (w580, w880, w890 and so on) there
are no big differences either.
Samsung is no exception, try keeping a D900i,/E900/E950/U600/U700 appart from just the software..
And people still rambling on about the bad symbians... Get a life.
Offcourse the first N73's where drama, but once updated to new software they are ok.
They do come back the most, but they also sold by the millions!
What most people also forget is that they can update the software themselves.
I work at a Dutch telecom provider and have the chance to check out all the new models as soon as they arrive.The newest nokia's are just as good/fast if not faster in the menu's then S/E's for instance..
If you wanna complain do so about the reception/buid quality off older clamshell Samsungs!
Conclusion?
Choose the phone you want and stop bitching about other brands. They all have strenghts and weaknesses, its what draws you most.
Comments like the ones above would be alot more helpfull if they went into the phones itself...

i like the 5320 N-Gage!!!!! wohoooooo and nice Features and also looks good
as for 5220 No way looks like a Remote control, and is just a cheaper version of 5320 lol
anyway although i like these XpresMusic Phones, im not being biast
but i think il pass these phones and stick to SE WALKMAN!

i guess nokia should change her activity and quit.
no major upgrades in their new phones just the same boring design and the same standard features.

The 5320 looks good but the other one- no way Jose. Series 40 has been around for years now and needs ditched.
