Symbian is by far better than windowsphone devices, hope Nokia marketing people think more, as Nokia is almost in bankcrupcy status.

Anonymous, 03 Oct 2012Me too had N900, the best cellfone ever. It made you go Wow... moreYes. I didn't see any point grabbing the N9. I bought a Galaxy S III a few weeks ago and really like it so far. I'm glad I waited for an ICS/Jelly Bean device, as I suspect I would have been disappointed with earlier versions of Android, after using the N900. :-)

DanT, 03 Oct 2012You have no ideea what are you talking about ... what do yo... moreI mean you can't zoom on specific part of the picture you only can zoom the whole picture.
I know it has a great camera but not what i thought it would be... Still phone camera quality.
You can check here on the samples with 8 MP scaling you i just noticed its not that better than S3

I don't like die hard Nokia fans criticize me just because I'm telling the truth OK? FYI i bought the phone after the second week of it released you know how expensive was that? and it makes you regret to buy this expensive phone with nothing to brag about! Best feature you can connect it to car radio... Other than that its a joke when my friends compare it with their S3 or IPhone 4s i feel like i have been robbed off by Nokia to sell this phone as a smartphone.

Staniel, 03 Oct 2012Man I'm just waiting for the Galaxy Nexus 2 to be official ... moreYou have no ideea what are you talking about ... what do you mean you can not zoom and move in the images? Are you crazy? It opens and zooms/scrolls images of 38 MP without breaking a sweat.
Also the difference from 808 camera to SGS3/i5 camera is huge, 808 shows no noise in 8MP mode while the others are full of visible noise (when viewed at 100%). 808 is decent even at ISO 800 in 8 MP mode, while the other are pure rubbish anywhere over ISO 400. Don't even have to say anything about the xenon flash, makes a big difference too. Or the zoom without detail loss in video or 5/8 MP mode. Or the Rich Recording. You have no clue about photography if you say 808 is just 10% over SGS3/iPhone 5. Try 200%.

I still have an N85 as a backup phone, it can be used for emergency but saying that it is useful would be a big exaggeration. Symbian is 80% feature phone and 20% step in the wrong direction.

It made you go Wow, and the insane thing that was after using it a year it would still mak you go Wow. NO limits, no restrictions, the most extreme device ever, it will never be beaten.
You didnt miss out on anything with the N9, i bought one but barely used it, Android was so much better.

NOKIA, 03 Oct 2012nokia pls leave symbian and windows .android is best.if nok... moreThank God Nokia isn't using Android. That OS is being abused too much by other OEM's.
Nokia still sucks however for ditching MeeGo, the best mobile OS.
Hopefully they can rectify this issue quickly but if not then oh well.

BraVo, 03 Oct 2012I didn't know Nokia still in business! I can't image someo... moreThat's because you have never owned a Nokia and you don't know the quality of this phones. It's true that the OS is older than iOS, Android, but I am sure that it has has no limitations and it has better performance since those phone don't need dual core processors or large amounts of RAM to work. Those phones just work and do what they need to do (remember, not all people need a big expensive phones only for playing games, but email, simple access to social networks, browsing, etc, that's Nokia).

Personally, I think Nokia have lost the plot and are destined to become just another niche player with Windows Phone. The last Nokia I owned was a N900. It was a sweet little multimedia device. But Nokia dropped support for it. I could have grabbed a N9 to replace. But I saw no future for it. It looks like I was right, as Elop stated it was the last Meego device they'd sell.
It's very unfortunate what's happened to them really, as they use to be a market leader, with highly innovative products. Now they've lost all but their hardcore fans in the smartphone arena. :-\
