drt, 03 Oct 2012I work for Cpw , the nexus 2 was the previous nexus made by... moreThat makes sense. The Nexus One was the first and the Nexus S is the second. The Galaxy Nexus is the third and we're expecting the 4th Nexus now, not the 2nd.
Of course this is not a rule (look at the 6th iPhone, the iPhone 5)

The nexus was never about the specs - yet it delivered a huge bang for the buck spent on it. The GalaxyNexus has a huge 115k score in Browsermark and is still among the top phones on the market even if it is one year old already - that's what software optimisation does, you get impressive results from high-end hardware not from ultra-mega-super-high-end hardware (see how the iPhone5 smashes competition in benchmarks.. same thing as with the Nexus, they optimized hardware and software).
I think that i'll just wait for the next Nexus before i decide to update ;)

I used to work for cpw using the same system. By seeing an unannounced product on the system usually means that it will be available with ay least a month

I think Qualcomm MSM8960 would be enough for Nexus 2. And it must have a battery that has +2000mAh. It will be enough for most of nexus users.

Lets hope for a quad core Nexus 2. Increased battery life would be the main advantage. The battery life on the previous was abysmal.
