Budget offering at 6gb RAM? Dream on... In the past 2-3 years the tablet market has been unilaterally dominated by Apple. Not to say in Android Market the very existence of a Tablet was felt unnecessary or should it be driven by the greed to sell phones with 6.67" screens as a replacement to a need for a tablet. Whatever the reasons for the substandard (yes, I would call it that) specs of the tablet market it gave a huge fillip to the iPad market with people who could afford and also who could stretch their budget to buy an iPad for its future proof along side the pocket-friendly (relatively ~$330/-) market catering Apple re-vision of capturing the budget zone.

Now after Xiaomi redirecting their focus on the tablet market with lower-high-end SNAPDRAGON 8xx Series and a moderate 4gb RAM will do. These laggards are now riding the wave to prove to the consumer that they care. No, Thank You Lenovo, Huawei, Honor, Acer, Panasonic, Samsung too (it too tried to capitalise with sub-par specs tablets at more than 2-2.5 times premium).

Xiaomi was out of this market for too long leaving these companies to exploit the consumer in the tablet market. Now that the Boss comes back to the market the others will run helter skelter to get their houses in order.

Lenovo with the lower-end SD690 instead of even the mid-ranger SD7xx series is human expecting to cash in the market before Xiaomi hits with their SD8xx series based devices. Better for consumer to stay away from the likes of the above mentioned duffers until there is a stability of prices around $200-300 for SD6xx, $300-450 for SD7xx and $500-$700 for SD8xx progressively with 4 / 6 / 8 GB RAMs and some additional premium specs at that price range.

This seems like a nice, budget-fiendly tablet. I’m looking to replace my Lenovo P10, as they seem to no longer support it, and this could be a very nice upgrade, if the price is right.

If its price is not expensive, it could be a good deal for an android tablet, since there are not many options for affordable ones with decent specs.

I've been looking at tablets recently and this one checks all of the right boxes. Let's see what the price is.

AnonD-920712, 09 May 2021the era of tablet return againI wonder why? Cough iPad cough.
Thus being said Lenovo tablets are not very good. I had some of them in the past. Software updates are almost non-existent and built quality is not that good. The only thing positive is that they are rather cheap and they give you an Android stock experience.
Samsung tablets are better almost in every way (display, speakers, built quality, software support).
It would be nice if more companies will start give Samsung some kind of competition. Especially now with Huawei gone.
