NotAnOpinion, 10 May 2021See. Apple has started a revolution... AGAIN!
Even thoug... moreNobody cares about updates on Android.
Android from 6 years back is getter than current ios.
Only revolutionary thing Apple did was jack up prices of flagship phone which ultimately helps manufacturers, not consumers.

Yea, users sure love that weak mono speaker and tiny battery. Oh wait...

Now it is up to Realme, Oneplus and Huawei to do it. We are especially waiting for Realme, since the CEO in the interview sajd that as as "Leading Brand" they provide 2 years of updates. Clearly, any companies above are better than companies that only provides 2 years updates and also Significantly better than an company claiming itself to be an leading brand but by only having 2 years of uodatws

AnonD-994853, 10 May 2021Nope it is 2. 3 years is only security updates, not softwareThat's only true for the Nord series. OnePlus flagships get 3 OS updates. OnePlus 5 went from Android 7 to Android 10.

See. Apple has started a revolution... AGAIN!
Even though, 3-years for a OS update is still extremely weak but much better than a year or so.
Android still has a verrrrrry long way to go before it's EARNED the premium tag, though.

only x series
but literally
dead on all their other phones.
these brands always be releasing rebrands of each other for different regions. like what the hell
that'll literally make repairing or software updates incredibly hard.
the most notorious ones are xiaomi, oppo, vivo and realme. like
why release the same phone for different regions under the same name, while you can put all of the bands needed together for the phone in the country to work, and release it under the same name, the same specs and the same price?
at least apple doesn't do any of these bs with their smartphone
samsung is fine but their entry level chipsets on different regions are so bad that they actually need to stop manufacturing exynos chipsets and use qualcomm chipsets for all of their flagships.
