Also, I will be curious to see how many of this so called Xiaomi fanboys (who appeared over night in here), have actually owned any Xiaomi phones recently. I had 3 of them in the last 2 years (among other phones). At least I can speak from personal experience, unlike some of them.

Was this really a surprise? This year's new iPhones need a bigger battery, otherwise that battery life will get drained quite quickly by the 120Hz display.

Really hoping this is fake.
Camera bump of above 2 is a bit of an annoyance. Why not just make a bigger battery and make the phone thicker.
My current phone is around 2.2 and I can't say i like it.

When iPhone transforms into iPhone 5 shape with protracted bumps on the rear body housing uneven cameras , there lost its innovative designs and aesthetic look. Now the iPhone has a boxy appearance without any attractive finishing.

[deleted post]And is not a defective unit. After experiencing this problems myself, I enter online and there are similar problems all over the place with this model. Even here on arena, if you go on Poco F3 page you can see what I am talking about.
I am not regretting buying it, because as I said, I bought it for the SD870 (which is very powerful, even better than last years flagship phones; and at a cheaper price). But, this other problems that the phone has, makes the overall experience not that good.
I just hope that they will correct this issues with software updates.
Anyway, I am taking serious thoughts if I will ever buy another Oled smartphone in the future. Is not the first time I experienced this. I had problems even with 800EUR phone in the past (with Oled display).

[deleted post]Is not about numbers. Of course 120Hz is better than 60Hz and I can feel that when scrolling or playing games. Of course 1080p is better than 720p when talking about sharpness.
But I was talking about the display issues (so in the end about the display quality).
They corrected the dimming issues from MiUi 12.0.3, but the green tint issues are still there (when looking at black screens in low light conditions) in MiUi 12.0.5.
Also, the brightness is no way 1300 nits. Maybe in laboratory conditions they achieve that number. I was outside with my iPhone Xr in one hand and my Poco F3 in the other hand (also with the "sunlight mode" turned on). Both of them with auto brightness turned on. And my iPhone was more eligible and a little more bright. Of course, I am not saying that the Poco F3 was not good, it's just no way it has 1300 nits, if my iPhone Xr has 625 nits.

I live in Czech Republic, and they have some sort of "Black Friday" from time to time at Alza store.
Initially I bought the iPhone 11 for about 700EUR, but then they had a nice discount for the iPhone Xr (which in my opinion is almost the same as iPhone 11). So, I returned my iPhone 11 and get the iPhone Xr with 400EUR. Also, I like more the colors in the iPhone Xr. I got the it in Coral color (this color is not on the iPhone 11).
Now, they have discount at the iPhone 11 too. You can buy the iPhone 11 new with 600EUR. I think until the end of May (if the stocks holds until then).

[deleted post]1. Just check Youtube videos and the display of the F3 is reflective even with the brightness booster (sunlight mode enabled), the screen is shockingly only as bright as a Realme 5 Pro. Ignore the spec sheet.
2. A second hand Xr in great condition gets you a F3 these days, it’s possible that he bought the iPhone 2nd hand.
I think Xiaomi skimped on quality control but remember, price speaks of quality. Not saying the Xr is a very good phone (because it is prone to white spots on screen and thermal throttles easily) but there are better Androids than the F3 if specs aren’t a thing.

In the last 2 years, I had owned both Android and Apple phones. About 15 of them in total (yeah, I like to change phones and to try them on, lol). I even made an Excel table with them to keep track.
Majority of these Apple haters have never owned an iPhone, so they don't know what they are talking about. They just read the spec sheet and assume that all is exactly like that. The best way to see these differences, is to have the phones always side by side.

[deleted post]Lol, no. My Poco F3 has worse quality display than my iPhone Xr. Of course, on paper the Poco F3 blows the iPhone Xr out of the water.
Sadly, in daily use the Poco F3 has some display problems (dimming issues and most recently for me, green tint issues). Also, even though Xiaomi says 1300 nits of brightness max, my Poco F3 is harder to see in direct sunlight than my iPhone Xr with 625 nits (even with "sunlight mode" turned on). Of course, this could be resolved by software updates in the future. Currently I am on MiUi 12.0.5.
But just saying. And I paid 350€ for the Poco F3. Almost the same what I paid for the iPhone Xr.
I just bought the Poco F3 for the SD870 inside. Which is a little beast, don't get me wrong, but the other problems of the phone make the overall experience not too great.
