Until now, no laptop with intel or amd under full load..could last more than 4-5 hours...this one , almost double

It's just a rendering but what about the comeback of the Magsafe , an SD card slot and Usb A? I thought those were supposed to be back? I guess I'm not going back to Apple after all. They're so annoying with their stupid dongles. I guess I'll have to stick with a Windows laptop running Ubuntu.

dude111, 12 May 2021People don't seem to realize that this looks stupidly ... moreThat was the point of moving to ARM chips from x86. Higher efficiency and less heat so passive cooling can be used. That results in thinner and lighter laptops. It also means that it can run iOS apps natively. It also doesn't hurt that Apple's M series chips are performance beasts.

People don't seem to realize that this looks stupidly thin. Even thinner than the macbook 2015 (1,29cm).
And given that the current air and pro 13" are almost the same size and weight, this would give the "air" brand more sense and act as an obvious differentiation between products.
