Wow essentially the end user experience for like 90% of user is a good one and it's only really people on here who care that they have a SD Vs Dimensity under the hood.
Dimensity 800, 820, 1000....SD750G, 768G or 780G all are good options for 90% of users...

Pretty underwhelming performance. We've seen a phone that costs $219 score 561k in Antutu and you know phones with this thing ain't gonna be anywhere near that cheap.
Eh who knows maybe some company will surprise me. Hopefully someone other than Xiaomi for once.

For your info, 3DMark tests are offscreen, it compares GPU
GFXBench offscreen tests compare GPU
GFXBench onscreen tests compare devices...you can't use it to compare GPU as one device can be FullHD and the other QHD.
GPU can't be consider without speaking about the memory
Back in 1999, you've got regular NVIDIA TNT2 with 128bits memory...it was great
And you've got M64 TNT2 with 64bits memory...it was crap!
But memory bandwidth is always something important for GPU.
Just look at your PC...CPU still uses 64bits DDR4
A high-end GTX 3080 uses 320bits GDDR6
A mid-range GTX 3050 uses 128bits GDDR6
You throw yourself things without any sources! You said Adreno 642 is 3 time faster than G57mp5 without anything!
I gave you numbers...that's wrong!

I think you make some mistakes too...780G hasn't a flagship level GPU
There's some hints.
The first is memory...780G and his Adreno 642 uses 2x16bits at 2133mhz when flagships use 4x16bits at 2133mhz (or 2750mhz when it's lpddr5)...bandwidth is double.
Memory used on D820 is the same : 2x16bits lpddr4x at 2133mhz.
GPU's score on Antutu is around 159000pts on a total of 520000 (Antutu v9) for 780G
On Dimensity 820 (G57mp5), it's 134000pts on a total of 450000 (Antutu v9) not that far
On Dimensity 1000+ (G77mp9), it's 215000pts on a total of 590000 (Antutu v9)
On Dimensity 1200 (G77mp9), it's 245000pts on a total of 700000 (Antutu v9)
G57 and G77 are the same cores (but G57 name is limited to a maximum of 6 cores, G77 goes up to 16)
I think D900 still uses G57mp5 but clocked a little bit higher (by 10 or 15%) due to 6nm process improvement and CPU moves from Cortex A76 to A78.
A76 is a 4 wide pipeline
A78 and A77 are 6 wide pipeline (both are very close)

Yes its bespoke to iOS which one of the reason it able to perform so well.
And oh, it can be benchmarked to Windows CPUs/GPUs because it able to run the same productivity software.
Reviewers across the web have did their due diligence by benchmarking on productivity software for things like encoding the same files and comes out pretty impressed by it, with one caveat of it may not have the flexibility to run awesome outside its supported software.
As the other reason M1 run greats, is that M1 is a cluster of specialized compute unit. A Properly designed specialize compute unit will be able to easily outperform 5 or even 10 to 1 compared to multi purpose compute unit.
Things like PS5 specialized Kraken decompressor compute unit for instance, that single specialized unit able to perform equal to 9 Zen2 cores in the same task. It may not be able to do much in other task, but its damn awesome at its specialized task.
Which bring it to Windows emulation, while emulation is highly possible but i don't think windows m1 will be able to perform remotely close to iOS m1. At least not until windows is able to properly run or distribute jobs between all of those clusters of specialized ARM-CPU.
On that Windows AMR Cluster end, by the end of 2020, it is reported that Windows themselves is on process of creating their M1 ARM-CPU. So we may see Windows M1 equal soon.
