I don't know why tech sites keep repeating the myth that Mediatek chips are aimed at ultra affordable phones. Have you ever made the comparison between the exact same phones one with Snapdragon and one with Dimensity from the Chinese brands? Dimensity ones are significantly more expensive.

My short lived experience with T-Mobile's LG velvet with Dimensity 1000 was meh. SD 855 in my note 10+ felt faster and never stutter.

Dimensity 820 already out performs the trash that is the 768G by a mile, its around snapdragon 855 level and 768 is slightly worse than 845, no idea what antutu is smoking.

Why is Mediatek comparing their Dimensity 900 to the SD 768G? that chip is old and the SD 780G is already out.
Their Dimensity 1200 is already unimpressive, barely surpassing the SD 870 and that one has Cortex-A77!

Mediatek can't beat Snapdragon in terms of GPU. Using Helio G80 and it is a notorious heater.
