powerful but what can it do!!!??

As a tablet this will be good for 10 years. Most tablets come with 4GB RAM today, 8GB at max.

[deleted post]All the LAN/WAN based apps like Dc++ work great.
One can even run iPad, Linux or Android emulator on surface pro.
Can't be done on ipad OS

[deleted post]It's infuriating to use an OS as outdated, restrictive and as limited as Apple's iPadOS and iOS. 7 years of updates and it's still the same restrictive, limited and non-customizable mess that it's in, which frankly, looks like a toy with huge icons and all that clutter.

1727 and 1606 are comparable. mkeh

I am pretty sure if it weren't Apple written before M1, everybody would have praised the chipset.
              Haters gonna hate.

thats all its good for, benchmarks that don't mean a damn thing in real life.

                    🍏 Cheating in Geekbench.
Android flagships giving much higher performance despite half the scores while ryzen and Intel destroyed M1 in real world

What's the point with hampered ipados?
And why are we surprised at this, we already saw similar numbers for the M1 in the mba/mbp.
Sure it's a really powerful chip, but since they have basically transplanted the chip over to ipad, why would anyone be surprised at the perf.

Still runs on iPadOS, so no thanks - I won't bother. I will take a glance if it runs on real desktop-grade macOS. But since it doesn't, Microsoft Surface all the way for me.
