srry accidentally pressed submit.
I've also reviewed xiaomi devices and they are good devices but too many software issues.
Notification problems made them unusable as a daily device.
I see Xiaomi as devices for people who don't need their notifications on time for work or social media.
Also don't care thatnmuch about multimedia and can live with a buggy device but really want the best specs for the price and want to play heavy games as good as possible on a budget.
The 10ii is pretty fast for normal apps(good software optimization) and light gaming.
The 10 iii seems like a killer device with an faster soc, dual stereo front facing speakers, 5g and a 21:9 hdr oled display it looks to be another great multimedia device.
If you don't like it it's okay everyone has different needs

Each service center has access to service manuals for any Sony product including Xperia even though Xperia is not sold in that particular market. They can fix your Xperia and charge you for it. Difference is in warranty, your Xperia warranty is not valid if you submit the phone to the service center in a market that doesn't officially offer Xperia brand. Also there is no customer service to call in the market that doesn't support Xperia products.

In order for manfucturer to push their sales out of ying yang they need to pay carriers a store placement inside the store as well as ads that carriers will advirtise. Walk into any carrier store and you will see dedicated shelves for Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi (used to be Huawei) and one general shelf with the rest of the phones. Xiaomi also has it's own stores like Samsung which contributes to marketing presence. All other companies had that before them but it didn't pay off. When Sony was selling 40mil unit annually it was bleeding the money because they were overpaying to carriers, advertising houses for content and space, duplicate app developers, etc. Now they are actually making money.
