Well, Xiaomi, as far as we know, is clean, so they probably dont need to be blacklisted.

As long as Huawei is still blacklisted, everything is good.

if xiaomi still blacklisted, xiaomi might be joining the HarmonyOS, and Harmony ecosystem will become bigger. And it will be a threat for US tech companies.

          what about Huawei?

            And Huawei ??

              GG Xiaomi

Xiaomi is sometimes very slow to release to updates, but then there are times where are quick to fix an issue. MIUI is a good android skin, but its not flawless either.

And I am still on MiUi 12 global version. And the model is what, 2 months old? Why not MiUi 12.5? Everybody is praising that update, I am curious to see it in action (and not to see some paid guy on YouTube talking about it).
I am not seeing Apple or Samsung differentiate so much between their devices (software wise).
Especially when majority of Xiaomi phone owners do not buy the premium Mi10 Ultra or Mi11 Ultra type of phones. Xiaomi should invest in all smartphones (at least in the recent ones), not just release another model for people to buy it.

Great news. I don't want to buy a phone or similar device from a dying or blacklisted brand.

finally hopefully this will spice up the competition while there is nothing but iPhones samsungs
xiaomi will destroy samsung in the midranger and entry level market (while samsung makes crappy overpriced low specced phones, no offense)

[deleted post]Xiaomi has good phones. It's their software support that's pathetic. And it's not even MIUI that everyone hates so much. I don't mind MIUI, it's fine. It's how they can't be bothered to properly support phones after they are sold and they keep on shoveling around same MIUI versions with different Android versions underneath instead of actually updating the core Android underneath for all eligible. Some get MIUI 12.5 with Android 10 and others MIUI 12.5 with Android 11. And you can't ever know when you'll be dropped out. Until you just don't get any updates at all. I had one Xiaomi phone and it was fine as such, but because of this crappy support, it was probably the last one. Despite everything, it's most likely I'll get a Samsung or something. Or just stick with iPhone.

I hope Huawei is next, damn I am still stuck on Android 10 because of it :D
