Meanwhile Apple does this and a lot more to maintain control over their iOS "walled garden", but no-one seems to care. Google was going too far with Apple-like tactics in Android Auto, so the fine doesn't really surprise me. The real wonder is why EU politicians are unable to connect the dots and let Apple to get away with anything...

Android Auto is still a joke platform without any useful apps, lack of proper wireless support, annoying UI, and its app list is mostly made of podcast stream apps... useless...
