Don't like the front, it looks like any other Samsung or Chinese smartphone out there. The back also not a big fan of (still loving my sage p5 waaay better), but at least they're trying something else and dare to be different and bold. Good job Google!

I had a feeling Google was only stalling last year. 2021 looks to be the THE year for the Pixel.

This is "it". Not only it is the best designed Pixel till date, but it looks better than any other smartphone on planet...
If processor is top of the line, & price is less than iPhones & Galaxy S21s, Pixel 6/Pro would be the preferred phone for most.

You will either like the new design, either you'll hate it. It's so 60s or 70s. Frankly I absolutely love it, but no SD card slot makes me say no. Too bad, I really like the design..
PS Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so ignore all those people saying that it's ugly. It only matters if you like it, not anyone else.

Google used to have excellent camera algorithms, but recently their camera software was rather a weakness:
-The Pixel 5 uses more aggressive noise reduction than the Pixel 3. And occasionally, the Pixel 3a uses more aggressive noise reduction than the Nexus 5x.
-The Pixel 4 and Pixel 5 don't have the HDR+ enhanced mode of the Pixel 3/3a, which is nothing else than a fast Night Sight mode. It is usually better than Night Sight because it is faster and sharper. Night Sight takes up to approximately 6.5 seconds and often leads to slightly blurry photos.
-Google's machine learning digital zoom looks very artificial nowadays. It looked less artificial in 2016.
-the Pixel 3a digital zoom can make dead, white pixels visible. The Nexus 5x didn't have this issue.
-White balance presets have been removed and the auto white balance of the Pixel 3a is less natural than the Nexus 5x.
-a Pixel 3a has occasionally more blown out highlights than a Nexus 5x in HDR+ On mode, especially when compared with Google camera version 3.x
-skin tones of Pixel 3a are less accurate than Nexus 5x with Google camera version 3.x
-Pixel 3a has a firmware issue, which causes desaturated dng files when a 3rd party app is used

omzig, 15 May 2021i think this camera bump is much better than any other, bec... morePerhaps bump won't be a more than 1 millimetre thick so with a case it will be flat.
Also, i think that simetricaly is better than in one corner

Same goes other way - if you want a pocket device and a camera allthe time in your pocket, do dont carry windows with you.

i like the colour combination but the design is meh. the camera bump is ugly and it seems thick too. i wonder which one will be thicker, the bump or the casing made for this phone?
