iSJ5, 07 Oct 2012i will buy this if this is drop proof!Nothing is drop proof. You'd be better off spending money on your grip strength, hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Hey there's always the Motorola DEFY, that's practically drop proof, not to mention some symbian phones. Save your money.

Ordered mine in grey, so I have to wait.
Another great phone from Samsung. It's nice to see less and less people walking around with their eyes wide shut when it comes to choosing a phone. I got my Note last November, and I said to the non believers that this size device was the future, but they kept squinting at their little screens! It's great to see many people are willing to take the chance on such a device, a chance that will be rewarded with a great user experience... expandable memory and a removable battery!

Yeah neat stuff. But just a matter of months before someone develops an app to do this on just about every mobile platform:)

luki, 07 Oct 2012samsung plastic fantasticthere is only 2 ways thatapple fans can bag the device now.
1. SIZE. Well it. Oes with a big screen and it feels perfectly normal after days use and easily fits Ll my pants.
2.PLASTIC. funny thing is ther note 2 performed on par with the iphone 5 in drop tests and is not nearly as prone to scratches as the iphone. Who really makes the better quality product?

Used to own a iPhone 4, traded that for the Samsung Galaxy S3, and now, bought a Note 2. Loving every bit of this device. Samsung have mastered the engineering. Just awesome!

rockstarRT, 07 Oct 2012WOWWWWWWW this is imcomparable to Iphone5. Another shame f... moreYou know this is an at least 2 year old feature right? MeeGo devices had this in their prototypes and I think it existed on phones probably before then too.
With that said, I can't wait to get the Note 2! :D

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2012iPhone 5 16GB is $649 unlocked. This is the standard price. There is a ridiculous pricing of that new metal phone phone withover US$1000 for a 16 GB model in the Philippines. People are crazy enough to actual pay that much for a mid-ranged functioning phone. That's f#©ked up!
