Shellyman Infinity, 20 May 2021No, but I do think phones will reach the 7-inches range ver... moreI guess it does look like the market is ready to make more 7 inch flagships. The next Galaxy Note will probably be something like 7.1 inches.

Tablets aren't only just about size, you know. Some people buy tablets because they have no cellular connectivity, which is great as a gift for their kids. 8 inches is probably the ideal size for a kid to use.

I do agree with the 8.9" though, especially if it's at a 4:3 aspect ratio like the Nexus 9. Or a 8.4" 16:10 would be nice too.

We're getting closer and closer to that mark. I don't see the point of making 8-inch tablets, they don't sell well as they used to. Even, Apple is aware of this, hence why we rarely see iPad Mini upgrades. If some OEM does make a new 8-inch tablet, 8.9" is the sweetspot. Anything smaller than that is too small for me.

Shellyman Infinity, 18 May 2021You do have a point on aspect ratios. But, I still don'... more"Eventually, phones will reach that size, especially foldable or rollable phones."

I still don't really see foldable or rollable phones becoming mainstream though. It's still going to a niche category of phones for this decade at least.

That being said, do you REALLY think normal phones will become 8 inches within the near future? Are you... positively 100% sure about that? I don't know about you, but it seems highly unlikely, and in my opinion an unwise direction.

I am genuinely willing to bet $100 that (normal) phones won't go up to 8 inches within this decade.

Even if it's only a minority, there's market for phones with extra large screens such as Samsung Note 1 - 4 or Galaxy Grand, Zenfone 6, and Mi Max.

It should be $400 or lower (which should be a pretty good deal), but I am expecting $500+ since this is Samsung.
