Now, Apple is insulting its customers again by indirectly saying that people don't know how to take pictures just like it insulted its customers when there was a problem with antenna by saying " you are holding the phone wrong". I think Apple customers don't have any self respect. Apple has never admitted its mistakes and has always blamed its customers for the problems.

AnonD-13636, 08 Oct 2012Then how does anyone know about these issues as well? Anywa... moreThis is true, however it's important to distinguish between real problems and non-issues. Antennagate was a real issue for some. Scuff gate for example, is a non issue, as aluminum scratches. However, scratched iPhones out of the box is a real issue, and unacceptable to iPhone users, so those phones should be replaced no questions asked.

Purple haze unfortunately is a non-issue, as has been debunked by many photography sites already. Maybe due to high expectations etc, who knows, some users never realized purple haze existed before, but because it was on iPhone 5 they all got into a frenzy. Sites have shown already how it was on iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 and on other smartphones and even point and shoot cameras,

All in all, if it's a real issue, even iPhone fans would be angry, after all, aren't we the ones using it? Why would an Android person need to be more concerned? Lol.

                    iPhone's are pretty
                    They are fast
They have nice customized A6 engines
Small size make them comfortable to hold
Lastly, a survey actually found iPhone users more likely to get laid than Android users.

Thanks for your comment, I didn't realize how I accidentally chose a great example with the Lamborghini.

The computer statement holds, think about it, the iPhone (and most smartphones today) is an incredible computer, loaded with sensors like accelerometers, compass, GPS, which makes it an incredible 'brain' which you can do incredible things with. Home automation for example are already using iPhone and iPads as the CPU to simply plug in and it controls your home appliances. Lockitron now allows automatic locking and unlocking of your house using the iPhone and it alerts you when people open your door or even knock.

These things can be done on Android as well, but the beauty of iPhone is in its single design every year, making it easy for gadget makers to cater to the WHOLE market in one shot. Not so easy on the Android market, hence the fragmented Eco-system.

love how we only ever hear about iphone problems. never hear about blackberrys white screen of death or nokia just turning off and refusing to turn back on. or samsungs pattern unlock not allowing users back into their phones. atleast the iphone problems dont affect users data. which is one of the most important things on the phone

Apple vs Samsung, 08 Oct 2012i don't know why still so many ppl support iphone, not andr... moreThe truth is, so many people buy iPhones for many reasons.

The device itself has a nice timeless design, it performs well, with optimized OS, and a huge choice of apps, as well as being a leader in gaming. So some people buy based on it being able to do what they want it to do.

Some buy it for its perceived image. Perception is reality as some say, a Lamborghini may be a huge waste of money when you look at its mileage usage, but if people desire it, then it's desirable.

Others buy it for specific reasons, the iPhone is like a computer in your hand, that people can endlessly customize, because it has a huge accessories market (this is made possible because iPhone is only one design per year, so there is less variation), so someone can have a pink plastic iPhone. Another can have a steel Lunatik Taktik iPhone.

Countless of other reasons, but the iPhone is designed with the Apple philosophy in mind, technology must be invisible, that is why the design tends to be very minimalist if, it is so that you can make of it whatever you want, customize it with accessories, have your own unique set of apps, and you are also comfortable in knowing that your model will stay current until the next year, when a new iPhone comes out. Also, your phone will probably support the latest OS for the next three years.

So, how to generalize iPhone users? Simply not possible.

Apple's Explanation can be summed up to

                                YOUR HOLDING IT WRONG

if the outcry goes on further, they'll increase the strength of the reality distortion field and say this

ALL BRIGHT LIGHT SOURCES ARE PURPLE IN COLOUR, YOUR EYES HAVE IT WRONG

and then all the apple fanbois will bow to this and swallow it like a universal truth

Orange, 08 Oct 2012Hahaha how come other smart phones don't have that problem then?!Didn't you read the article? So many other articles have shown this to be normal and not actually a "problem". In fact it was probably drummed up by Apple haters as usual every year after an iPhone launch.

When iPhone 4 came with a glass body (more scratch resistant), some Android genius decided to do a drop test, and it's ALL OVER the Internet. When iPhone 5 demolished SGS3 in more than 3 videos now, suddenly why so quiet? Why no constant "SGS3 shatters cheap plastic!!!!" all over?

Suddenly it became scuffgate (people now realizing there were only few unites, possibly because of initial production), mapgate (now good reports coming out, vector maps extremely efficient, automatic caching saves double info of Google maps offline feature, although data set requires improvement), and now purple haze lol.

Review after review pour praise on the iPhone 5. The haters are going to stay the same and will continue to hate based on some misguided ideal. To the others, choose what suits you best, like it buy it, don't like it buy something else.
