The screen can be used with safety gloves and when it is raining outside. There is an optional stylus and an optional bar code scanner too.

It makes me kind of sad, Panasonic was leaving the smartphone business(I mean those devices which where made for Japan) in 2013. Panasonic has made some interesting devices in the past, it is sad this giant is no longer in the smart phone business.
