Software experience from everyone you mentioned is just shit. Ads. Bulky heavy modification in settings , UI. This stock Android phones of Nokia actually makes life easy. Just nokia 2.4 low end. But daily driver for me. Smooth and never lags for my usage. Outlook, teams, browser, calls & chats. Two days fully battery comes with this issue pattern full day. Simple. No ads in ui. U can even remove Google apps. Swipe from down apps list. Swipe edges for back and home button action. Camera I use for scanning documents in office lens app. That's all.. Entertainment is Spotify and YouTube. Butter smooth and simple as primary school math.

Miui, oneui, lg all does smartphone life a hard one only. Apple even is simple.

Yeah, I too feel bad at their strategy & can't imagine what's going through their minds, because I do care about the brand & wish they stick around.
But we have to remember that Nokia (at least the original one), and to some extent HMD aren't laser-focused on making profits🤑 alone like some other big names who have so much yet still not enough (greed of the highest order). They don't cater as much to the developed nations or well-off & middle class people who just want more from their phones, but they provide products for people from under-developed/developing nations (which were exploited for long by the now so-called "developed nations" rampantly) & help them experience a smartphone for the first time probably & help them connect to the wide world by bringing them online & access to opportunities.
Remember that most people who are looking for such cheap phones wouldn't have much idea about specs or Mpx or lag (they don't watch or read reviews on YT, etc) bcoz they most certainly wouldn't have experienced a better device before (it's all relative). Since it's only once you xp a better product first-hand that you come to know by how much (or not) the older product was inferior (or not-like the HP jack).
So I too would love to hate on HMD for releasing this trash phone, but it isn't marketed at me (just watch what MKBHD had to say for the iMac). But I would criticize them for not releasing a proper successor to the 8.1 or 9PV, etc bcoz they target the demographic of which I'm a part.

AnonD-731363, 20 May 2021Well hope the X50 is the upcomming 9.3 or 9.4 Nokia 9 Purev... moreX50 isn't going to be a flagship, more like a successor to 8.3 since it's rumoured to have SD7xx, but anyway they have scrapped the old naming scheme, so it'll be X50 only.

            Big hopes for that.
There arent much flagships with battery over 5200 apart the ROG which durability is really bad.

HMD Global should seriously stop using Nokia brand name on their phones. This is not the legendary Nokia we used to love decade ago. HMD Global are just ruining the name of real Nokia. Poor specifications phones launched at high price along with delay in providing monthly security updates and OS Upgrades are enough to even die hard Nokia fans to switch to other brands.

MineTheDays, 20 May 2021Well it cost 100€ so that's not a big dealIt is not about price, it is about bad experience.

Oh my god, Nokia—nobody cares! Please end this, you're only making it worse for each announcement!

Why even bother putting up articles about this company. They were a giant. They're now an afterthought. They have no chance of clawing back the ground lost on Xiaomi, Samsung, Apple, realme. Basically any half decent manufacturers. They're miles away from even getting close to competitive. The kind of trash they're putting out is putting them closer and closer to the precipice that LG succumbed to. A major rethink is needed muy pronto or they need to bow out gracefully.
