iPhone rules in global sales, it rules on gsmarena’s comment section in every article related to the iPhone. Look at the comments on Android phones. Most of the time about 5 or 6
(and that is reflected to how many units those phones are selling). Apple haters are actually helping Apple selling more phones because they draw attention to the iPhone.

That mistake of th... moreGod this whining over closed locked down ecosystem irritates me so hard as someone who migrated from Android to iOS and half way through back to Android and back to iOS and literally had no issue using any of the stuff I'm using. So, how again is it locked down and closed? This argument is so tired and annoying it's absurd. Just because you can't sideload apps it's not closed down and locked. Sideloading is so annoyingly overblown as must have thing yet 90% of people don't ever do it and the remaining 10% only do it from either piracy reasons or some rare cases when apps aren't on whatever app store anymore but are as APK somewhere.

And now they are really happy that they did. Others went the easy way and use free Android. We all know how hard is to compete with Android nowdays when almost everyone is selling more or less the same what you are. That’s why LG is out of phone business, and htc will soon be and then maybe Sony and so on.
Sametime Apple is having record high sales because they can stand out and no cheap Chinese companies can copy what they do. Poor Android companies!

Only other alternative to Android is iOS which Apple doesn't license to anyone. Which means only actual alternative is coding one from scratch by whatever hardware maker. Lets just say 99% of them aren't even remotely competent to do that. Samsung tried on several occasions and even they failed many times. Tizen is somewhat workable, but isn't a full fledged OS.
