Anonymous, 23 May 2021Can you use an equalizer? In Android you can.Yes, iOS has an EQ in Settings that works only for the Apple Music app.

Meanwhile, Tidal has started bombarding me with discounts & offers. Certainly they are feeling the heat!

My Life Q30 only support SBC and AAC 😕
Maybe in the future time I'll get Sony headphones that supports all those codec 😓

Android has its limitations as well, but Apple being bound to a crappy old AAC and SBC BT CODEC's with low audio quality for years when you can enjoy LDAC, AptX Adaptive and other much higher quality (albeit still not HI-RES, but still way superior) CODEC's on a ~$200 Android device is hilarious for a company that supposedly targets media creators.

I am happy with Spotify

Anonymous, 23 May 2021Can you use an equalizer? In Android you can.Usually, using EQs defeats the purpose of having Hi-Res in the first place.

24-bit 192kHz

192000 samples per second

4608000 bits per sample

Obviously requires a much capable DAC to decode & process all those bits.
