The Nord successor with Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset? Sounds tempting. For me, though, I do hope that OnePlus can give better material and sturdier build quality for the Nord successor. A plastic frame on an upper midrange phone, let alone a flagship really sounds so wrong. If OnePlus can bring back the still-useful-and-still-relevant headphone jack for the Nord2, that would be more than welcome.

Man, only if they would release it earlier and put in a HP jack, I'd have waited a bit longer.
But for now I'm mostly thinking of getting the X7 Max, can't wait another 2-3 months and be be overwhelmed by the ridiculous hype the Nord & 9Pro is anything to go by.

If the Nord 2 is the Realme GT Neo / Q3 Pro platform then this could be a great thing. But I don't have high hopes for 1+. The game they played with the Nord in NA then releasing those trash Nords here... Plus Oxygen has become another re-skin of Color OS and no longer the stock Android experience. I hope I'm wrong. Time will tell.

One Plus off late is pretty bad with updates. They are charging ridiculously high for their devices. Prices should be atleast 200 USD less.

I used Nord. it's quite terrible, the WiFi is 'connected with no Internet ' bug and it's camera was also bad when I used it as my secondary device alongside A71.
I replaced nord with P40 lite later .

Oneplus Nord is an great phone. But at the same price, you can buy the Oneplus 7T or even the Oneplus 7 pro with far better specs, performance, camera, and design build quality. Hope the Nord 2 upgrades on the original nord in almost all areas. Since if it costs $399, it is easily killed by Poco f3 with top specs, excellent display and design build quality. Nord 2 should basically be an Poco F3 with better cameras, faster charging, and OxygenOs and a bit higher price.
