bbbcomrade, 27 May 2021Finally, i am looking to buy new laptop in couple of years ... morePeople carry only one cable these days a 65W USB type C to charge smartphone as well as laptop

Finally, i am looking to buy new laptop in couple of years and all i can think of power adapter problem. Don't get me wrong most todays high end laptops can also be charged via pd type c port at 100w but to get dedicated gpu work you still need big power adapter (which is mostly 230w) but with this you can carry 240w power brick which can both be use by your high end laptop and high end smartphone. By the way i know that some laptops with rtx3080 can consume more than 240w power (they have 300w power brick) but in couple of years i hope gpus and cpus will become more energy efficient and can bring total power consumption to about 230 240w range so that you don't have to drain your battery even you use full power of the laptop. Final thing i don't mind old school big power brick like 300 or 330w but i want to be able to play games when i am outside and don't worry to drain battery, big power adapter will stay at home and small pd charger will travel with me. The advantage of versatility.

I have xiaomi 120 W charging brick, and i must use its Original charging cable too that comes inside the box, only with that it can deliver 120W with the text on phone display said "120W MAX CHARGING".
Full in 30 minutes. In that original cable, there's a label 6A.

Also when i use charging cables from another phone and old xiaomi cable, my 120 W brick just deliver "quick charge". Full in 1 hour. So those cables must be about 2A and 3A.

And the problem is, i cant find 5A and 6A turbo USB cable in the market and every online shops, the cable is rare. I've bought 4A in online shop but i realize i just get scammed because it takes more than 1 hour to fully charge the battery

beep bop boop, 26 May 2021enjoy your fast degrading batteriesBatteries degrade faster on iPhones. If they don't, don't worry, Apple will make sure their next update does it.

Only Android can harness this tech. So glad to be part of an ecosystem that gives its users cutting edge tech.
Giving users what they want - Another victory for Android in the smartphone domain.
No wonder Android wins "OS of choice on smartphones" award every year.
Crushing the competition every year. It's just Addicted to WINNING! and the consumers win because of this approach as well.

The problem is with the fake versions and the price!
The biggest problem is compatibility between manufacturers- for example I have a USB c cable from p30 pro that can charge Huawei in 50 minutes but Samsung will not recognise as fast or super fast!
I prefer to manufacturers to be forced to let us use one brick and one cable for all our devices.

Anonymous, 26 May 2021Who actually cares if people change there phone every after... moreWel this is actualy true.
I paid few years ago 40 bucks for battery swap on my Lenovo Vibeshot.
But know plenty of people who paid 100-300 bucks for battery replacement in devices with price tag of 1000+

beep bop boop, 26 May 2021enjoy your fast degrading batteriesWho actually cares if people change there phone every after 2 years anyways, as when there contract of leaching is over and make a new contract so take new phone also. And you dont need to charge your phone with the fastest charger that is featured for the phone. You can buy something 30-50W charger and it is still faster then 15-20W what either Samsung or Apple have. Even low middle class phones these days have 33W chargers. My 3 years old phone have 18W fast charger while the charger i bought supports 23W max, my phone battery still last 3-4 days like it have lasted all these 3 years i have used it

Never mind that it's not even a problem on Android devices that cost like 200-300 euro if the battery die out in 2-3 years while it's a big problem when phone that cost 800 plus euro and battery die out in 2-3 years whiel the replacement cost probably more then 100 euro. I remember a time when i had ipod and needed battery change and it cost like 2/3 of the device value at that point

beep bop boop, 26 May 2021enjoy your fast degrading batteriesThose grapes are sour. Because we can't reach them.
We hated wireless charging, water resistance, OLED screens, more than 326ppi displays, dual sim, widgets, app drawer. But now we can't hate it. Our Favourite company is using those.
