Product image is deceiving. There is in fact a small chin whereas the image shows equally sized bezels on all four sides.

You all are nuts. I have a 120hz phone screen and have had it for several years now and it's always set to 120hz! I've tried a few times settings it back to 60hz to extend battery life a little (though it doesn't use much extra battery) and I always end up switching back to 120hz because everything feels so laggy and slow. 120hz just feels and looks so much better in everything from the home screen to web browsing, it's definitely not just for gaming!

The only time I ever see a high screen refresh rate does play its part is during mobile gaming, especially console emulation. I really love that a lot. But 99% when I'm reading the news article and scrolling the social media feeds? I can't see the whole point of it.

On a large PC monitor, the difference is totally day and night, especially during gaming. On a tiny smartphone screen? No one brags about it.

Then why GSMArena always clocked out higher battety endurance rating when the screen is using lower screen refresh rate despite having higher screen resolution? The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a prime example.

As someone not interested in demanding mobile games the high refresh rate is more impactful than high resolutions. Both tax the battery, but one is perceivable, so the preferable option is easily increasing the frame rate.

I hope that the RM7/pro don't have a holepunch camera 😐

Anonymous, 27 May 2021It's not only because of the cpu Shoulder button ( tr... moreI'd rather see the continuing rise of popularity for bigger and more efficient batteries instead of a high screen refresh rate. A high refresh rate does work well during mobile gaming, but that's about it. In the real world where people do social media and office works, it only uses more battery and you can't tell the difference between 120Hz/144Hz and 60Hz when scrolling the screen. I'd rather see high screen refresh rate exist on gaming smartphones only.

Compared to the 6 and the 6 Pro, the 6R's rear design is more restrained. More than that, the 6R has a punch hole instead of a bezel in the 6 and 6R, and I'm not a fan of punch holes. The smaller battery capacity though can be a bit of a deal-breaker considering the SD 888's thermal performance. If ZTE uses SD 870 for the 6R, that can be sensible.

chris1998, 27 May 2021These gaming phones receive one major update and after that... moreIt's not only because of the cpu
Shoulder button ( try and do that on Samsung phone lol)
Better cooling ( mainstream phone just focus on bigger battery but not better cooling)
Headphone jack (coz it is still important in games to use wired earphone, mainstream phone already drop it)
And gaming phone actually help popularized bigger battery and high refresh rate..
