Another product I won't buy. Having speakers is fine for some people, but imagine everyone using speakers on a train. Will you hear anything?
Imagine using wireless speakers! But, wait, the ride is long so the battery will run out, what's next?
Imagine using USB-C cable headphones! No, wait, those don't exist (those that do have horrible audio quality and terrible price). Instead, lets use the best of all worlds - usb-c to 3.5mm jack! With horrendeous audio quality and lack of charging port!
Samsung is crazy if they think I'll buy this junk at such a price. Oh, well, they have money to burn so lets enjoy the fireworks.

omzig, 01 Jun 2021yeah india and russia from my example are first world count... moreXiaomi is way bigger company than Lenovo, they might have direct connection with certain governments, they might even have factories directly in those countries, also the big point is remember some companies makes money from other services, like PS and XBOX that don't make profit from console sales but rather from videogames, subscriptions, etc.
So maybe Xiaomi is more willing to lose money in profetting from phone sales but gain user base, dont forget in some countries they have ads in most of their apps, so every company have different approach

axelwoax, 31 May 2021Massive companies n1 priority is to make profit, which mean... moreyeah india and russia from my example are first world countries, right. how come xiaomi is able to sell smartphones in india with china prices but lenovo fails to do so? my guess is greed and stupidity, not mathematics. and the very topic we are posting it - how come samsung make a competitive price with its own superior product. my guess - they force customers to clear past year Tab S7 stock, so this year they can release much more expensive Tab S8 and make new price-tag look "reasonable".

omzig, 31 May 2021could be, but who the heck knows. both russia and india go... moreMassive companies n1 priority is to make profit, which means in Lenovo financial department they decided that the only way to make profit in western countries, with VAT, shipping, licensing, regulations, etc. was to charge that amount, I'm sure the price is decided very mathematically, not just throw the dice and let see what numbers come out. If Lenovo charge in China 350$ but in EU or NA 700$ it's not fault of Lenovo but of all this first world countries and their laws.

both russia and india got p11 pro for 45,000 inr/rub (612 usd, inr=rub rates) now. also, apple charge much higher in russia generally. iphone 12 64Gb cost 1085 USD, are you sure about Mac?

but even 400 USD is 30% more than china mainland price. also, you pay for delivery. and given covid situation delivery time can be snail painful.
i mean you can probably find a way to circumvent lenovo ridiculous global price policy, but the thing here is lenovo just shows their attitude here, or the lack of respect for their customers. personally, i don't like to be treated like that.

lenovo sells its P11 Pro ju... moreIn my country they are selling the Lenovo P11 Pro Tab (without any accessories) with the same price as the regular Tab S7 (because this tablet is at a promotion). 600EUR for each tablet.
At this price point the regular Tab S7 I think is a better value.
But, as you said, I doubt that Lenovo will sell the newly Pad Pro tablet (an Oled HDR10, 90Hz, SD870 tablet), below 600EUR globally. That will mean they released the P11 Pro Tab for nothing. Either they will not release the Lenovo Pad Pro globally, or it will be more expensive than 600EUR.
