I just use chargers here and there, from 20 to 50, of from 30 to 70. Just plug in for 5-15min multiple times a day. after 1 year of use my samsung s20 has 94% battery capacity (measured with accu battery)

I use a normal OEM charger that slow charges during the night and I notice that the battery just lasts much longer than when using fast charge. Plus in the long term its much better for battery life... still, its good to have the option of fast charging, I just rarely use it unless I am caught in a situation where I have not charged overnight.

Battery technology need to improve so everyone can enjoy this speeds. The true is that for now this type of fast charge will kill the battery faster.

I use mi 10 and the battery degrades so fast now I can barely make it 6 hours (only half if the time intensive gaming. Others are web browsing and standby mode, I always clear background running apps.)with this kind of quality I think it's worse than iPhone SE.
The new mi 11 is so much worse it's cooling solution is much worse, not only that heat increased because of sd888, so you get news of burned in motherboard ( first in it's kind, except for Samsung Galaxy Note 7:, the exploding phone.)
It costs about as much as other flagships nowadays but it's worse.
Don't trust whatever they say, other manufacturers pays much more in RnD ,certs,tests,qc. That's why u see phones with weaker cooling stay (healthier),
Not to mentioned software issues , but with miui 12.5 I feel it's already much better .

How many times you were not in a hurry to want a faster charging?
+ it's not the final product. Of course there are a lot of problems, of course they will fail, of course they will not get this right in a second, but in time they will solve this kind of problems, at least I hope they will, a portion if not the entire, at lest they try, they work hard to get us the best, for us, the consumers, not the aliens, Jesus. Some positivity please!!! And if you don't like this, stick to 5W and don't speak in the name of all like I just saw a guy doing, "We don't want this". Really??? Are you sure that people don't want this? Some companies will get this in years but hey, fanboism will hit like a truck until then! I changed all of my phones in short period of time (no matter if they were flagship phones or budget ones; yes including iPhones). Because I like to try them and I never settle just on one device or brand. Of course, I am in minority here. I know people that have some budget phones, that are using them even after couple of years.
Bottom line, it doesn't matter what phone do you have. Some people can use 5 years something like the Poco M3, others can change after 6 months a Mi11 Ultra. Like I said, depends on the individual, not on the type of phone or OS.
