Looking forward to the day all of the phone which own by China switch over to Harmony OS as well.. Thank you Huawei for bringing an alternative OS to the world. Meanwhile hope more IOT devices are shipped to Asian countries.

Ars Technica had to make quite an effort but they proved it by going hands-on with the latest "HarmonyOS" 2.0 beta. HarmonyOS is finally here. It might take some time to reach some other countries but it will eventually gets there. With already more than 500 000 app developers on board of the OS, i really don't see Huawei falling. Their main target is China, once they settle there and some other phone manufacturers in China joins in. People in Chine don't rely on GSM, so most of them won't have a problem to migrate. And that gives Huawei the edge.

Its a IoT implementation. I dont even care what its based from as long its competitive, advance & future proof.

Actually, its all your fault buddy. Y series is always an entry level from Huawei, and definitely less supported updates.
