NotAnOpinion, 05 Jun 2021Wrong again. The main burden of proof is that Honor'... moreJust being state-owned won't put one company into US entity list smh.. Huawei was banned because of their telecommunication technologies as well as the fact that they actively push Sub-6 as apposed to US' mmWave 5G, not only due to the potential relationship they have with the government. All those 58 companies banned by US government are deeply involved in national infrastructures, related to China's semiconductor industry or/and suspected to have technological connections with the military. On the other hand, Honor is a phone company hence has no significant impact on those areas. Get it now?

joe nodden, 05 Jun 2021Wish those cameras were horizontal and centered. centered camera makes it difficult to shoot in wide angle. your hand will always be in the shot.

Nick Tegrataker, 04 Jun 2021I'm pretty sure US government would've added to t... morehuawei makes good smart phones & so does honor
both have their own vast market shares in the globe
it s very un likely for both huawei & honor to still be
working together at this stage and forever may not
i guess he might be correct after all & all this while
& we can assume that he is way way smarter than
the government & perhaps smartest in history too

Nick Tegrataker, 05 Jun 2021For any of your speculations to happen, US first of all wou... moreWrong again.
The main burden of proof is that Honor's parent company is state-owned too.
So, give it some time, the hourly glass is in motion.
This is one of those things, "no news = to future concerning news!"

NotAnOpinion, 04 Jun 2021Honor is barely selling any products now and Biden and team... moreFor any of your speculations to happen, US first of all would need to find the factual proof that Honor is financially connected with Huawei in the first place (So far, there is none and I don't think US is even interested in the company in the first place).
Honor is a mere smartphone/laptop/accessory company and cannot be deemed a "national threat" since they are not involved in 5G business. Probably it's better for us to wait for a while before fantasising about Honor getting banned.. Biden administration doesn't seem to be completely brainless unlike the previous one, after all.
"until the official announcement of US tech in Honor's products arise"
They already announced that SD778G will be on their phones LMFAO.

Nick Tegrataker, 04 Jun 2021I'm pretty sure US government would've added to t... moreHonor is barely selling any products now and Biden and team don't see any US product in Honor units yet, bssically just rumors, to matter and his administration is only a few months old but esit until the official announcement of US tech in Honor's products arise, then start the countdown.

NotAnOpinion, 04 Jun 2021Honor should. Why?! Because Huawei is on the US'... moreI'm pretty sure US government would've added to their list if they had seen the connection between two companies already lmfao.

YUKI93, 04 Jun 2021That is actually a good point there. If Microsoft still own... moreThe problem is they don't own any shares in Honor anymore so any profits would not go to Huawei. They wouldn't benefit from it at all unless they have some sort of options contract that allows them to reacquire Honor in the future. But even then there would be no point in exercising the option unless the US ban was lifted as repurchasing would just mean Honor would be covered by the ban again.

Rettro, 03 Jun 2021Why are we still acting like it ever going to come out Lol, Honor is now on its own and they have access to Google Mobile Services. Of course anyone would get excited about it. Heck, even the Honor 50 series will be officially launched on June 16 just in case if you missed the news.

If Microsoft still owns Nokia today, Microsoft can just let Nokia made Android or Linux-powered smartphones while Microsoft just keeps focusing on Windows Phone-powered Lumia lineup. I see no problem with that idea.

Shui8, 04 Jun 2021Lol clearly the design concept is both own by Huawei/Honor ... moreI wonder if it would be the GN1 sensor as in the Vivo X60 Pro+ or the new GN2 sensor as in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. To be honest, the GN1 is still a capable camera sensor.
