I love Google and Microsoft. Apple isn't for me as I like customization and freedom. Waiting for Android 12 and Windows 10 21H2. Will buy a great laptop and a flagship Samsung phone. Also a Galaxy smartwatch and Galaxy Buds.

And what exactly this will change?
The app will ask you for the permission and if you reject it, you won't be able to use the app...
I think this was already present in android?

Or you can simply use AuroraOSS Warden to disable every single tracker and logger from an app and also use Blockada to block incoming ads.

The funny thing is, so many junk apps from Android manufacturers dont let you remove permission to location, phone, even microphone that too brands like Samsung. I am not sure what good this new so called privacy feature brings

              well done Apple
everybody will follow everything you do
at least this time is something good

Its unfair to be required to update to Android 12 for this.
I mean, this is a simple change, it must be universal.

Google is forced to bring these. 😄😄
                  Thank you apple

Does this even matter anymore? We've all been using all of these apps for years. Any app that we have used that wanted to know this stuff already has a solid profile of people by now. They can connect the dots of the ad ID and your username or phone number or something else to know exactly who they're dealing with.

That's better, but not good. Every such play should be Opt-In only and they know it. There is a reason why opt-in stats for iOS 14.5 were low.
