1. Smaller sensor on main cam?
2. No OIS on main cam?
3. No video stabilization on 4k60fps?
4. Ultrawide is an crappy 8 Mp midrange level?
5. Bad auto mode at night

To be fair, Realme is better than Xiaomi in HDR, ultrawide on front and macro, , but it is a draw between them. If is just like when you are asked to pick an Iphone 12 pro max or S21 Ultra, Xiaomi gives you an higher quality picture. And Realme gives you more options to play with at the hardware. While in software, xiaomi has way more features to play around with.

    Anonymous, 12 Jun 2021That's dumb. They're topping DXOMark which means ... moreI agree with you. Their hardware and results are top notch. But their software is still their biggest weakness. Especially with HDR, night mode, colours and portraits. The results are great, but other phones can achieve the same results with smaller sensors and smaller camera bumps but with better software, and they are more consistent than Xiaomi's camera results. Xiaomi's hdr sometimes blows out highlights, make Images too bright, night mode processing takes too long even on an SD 888, portrait mode doesn't benefit from hdr and night portrait, and the colours aren't consistent like most brands except google apple and samsung. In video too, even if you just move a bit, the exposure and colours can change significantly. Don't get me wrong, the results are excellent, but it is just not as consistent as S21 Ultra

          Xiaomi is right now an combination of Oneplus and Huawei. Pursuing Innovation in one end yet giving an tech with more affordable price and value than the comppetition.

They're topping DXOMark which means they have good hardware combined with good enough postprocessing. You don't need good postprocessing if your hardware is good. Computational photography merely compensates for poor hardware. That's why DSLR don't need any postprocessing. Apple and Google need good postprocessing because they use cheap camera hardware and do not produce photos as good as Xiaomi Mi 10/11 Ultras.

                  They really are going all in... Awesome.

                  It can only be good to customers and especially Samsung has to wake up and give us more every time they release a new phone, if they want to try to lead again... Love it.

                  Huawei waked up lazy Sammy years ago, now since the stupid ban of Huawei, Sammy got lazy again and not giving customers that much BUT competition will wake them up for sure.

                  Go, go go Xiaomi... And maybe even Huawei will rise again outside China.

                  2021 is for sure Xiaomi year 👌🏻

                  Will be exiting to see the coming years now 🙏🏻🌞

                    Xiaomi have Great Hardware with Interesting Price tags,, but Xiaomi weakness is on Software side especially on Camera software algorithm

                        As long as they keep that flea market hawker "OS" MIUI, I won't be purchasing a single Xiaomi device ever again.

                          Looks interesing and promising and far better than apple or samsung just because xiaomi is far more affordable offering same or better specs than apple or samsung for much less price.
                          Xiaomi were always price friendly where apple and samsung knows only greed and how to rob their customers by selling 3-5 times higher than the manufacturing price.
