For the life of me I can't understand why is it soooo hard for other Android OEM partners aside from Moto to fit in a Maxx HD class batt? And mind you it's not like Moto are outselling HTC either to be able to pull that off? No one is telling them to do that on all of their phones, just the select ones. But even that it's a tall order it seems. To top it all off, HTC are probably the cheapest cheapskate of all Android OEMs when it comes to batts. Even Huawei, ZTE and/or Xiaomi aren't that bad for some of their phones?
And I agree w/ some other ppl here. 1080p on anything less than 10.1 - 11.6" screens are a waste of pixels + ppi, GPU cycles and of course batt life. Balance is key. 720p on Note-like 5 - 5.5" territory are much preferable.
If that Pantech Vega R3 ever gets out to international markets, it will single handedly KILL all of these already announced S4 Pro misfits.

I like innovation and the latest technology, but 1080p on a 5 inch screen is pointless! If this is a trend that will continue until next year, a lot of people will be conned into the hype. It's like Quad core this year. Qualcomm even admitted that it's unnecessary and they make the damn things!
It's like buying a Ferrari and only being able to drive through city centres.
Anyone who buys this is wasting money. Oh well, at least they will have bragging rights.

I think a 5 inch display is pushing it. Is it a phablet or phone? 4.8 inch barely fits in my hand and i have big hands. I think the smartphone limit should be around 4.8 inches.. beyond that is phablet territory.

Awesome specs means more battery use and having a regular battery means that this phone can't last for the whole day unless you don't use it.

Before the Galaxy S3 I had the Omnia 7. It was way more faster than the S3. The specs aren't everything.

Great phone but battery life doesn't match with 1080 display 5.0 inch screen it should be 3000 mah because Large phone need Large battery.

I personally like d design nd build of htc fones, as i have a wildfire s, bt i think d current sense ui is really not as cool as touchwiz, nature ux and timescape. My wildfire s uses sense 2.1 and i kinda like it a lot more than the nu sense UIs
