Anonymous, 15 Jun 2021And it understandable. How deep a wave penetrates through ... moreThats why its kinda stupid shutting down even just 2G for signal assurance like calling&texting in any place at anytime specially in emergencies where 4G/5G signals can be scarce or unreliable.

105 4G looks clean, the yellow of 110 4G looks beautiful. Front design of both recalled me an old Nokia model from pre-Elop era

J, 15 Jun 2021Lol, none of the pictures shows the phone in its entiretyYeah no pictures of it's front that is the main thing about the phone looks. Seeing it's rear side is useless in so many pictures just to see the color of it

It's good that they churn out these ultra-budget phones for many people out there in this world, but can they for once, maybe once in a year also care about their mid-higher tier segment

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2021My country has 2g, 3g and 4g still and my network at times ... moreAnd it understandable. How deep a wave penetrates through your home it depends of the frequency. Electromagnetic waves with lower frequencies and bigger wave lenghts reach longer distance through a materials or an non ideal transmision medium than the higher ones with smaller wave lenght. Also the directivity is bigger at higher frequencies but cover less area and you need more antennas.

But once those 2G and 3G, etc, cell networks are shut down, its frequencies are used to other standards including 5G. Not all 5G go through hight speed rates and microwave frequencies, 5G also include NR bands as low as 700Mhz that works as good as 2G and 3G through edifices or buildings. Obviously when those frequencies are used you get lower transmision speed that at microwave 5G frequencies. But the standard is a whole and each carrier implements it as he prefer and obviously as he can too due to have to win the auctions and buy the free and available frequencies in each country they operates or use those they already have the rights to use for the allowed period of time they bid.

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2021Hi fools, we mean... dear intelligent customers, do you rem... moreMy country has 2g, 3g and 4g still and my network at times falls back to 2g based on where I am inside my house.
I have noticed that my older 2g and 3g phones get better reception than 4g phones at those times. My S10 can't even maintain a good voice call, while my old Lumia works like a champ.

I would still use a Nokia N95 if it runs Symbian and has support for 4G. I can do much more, with Symbian. HMD just wants to make the most out of the brand name. Hope the original Nokia can comeback somehow, someday.

I like the back of 105. Looks clean and symmetric. If only these have wifi hotspot, I would buy one as backup phone and Hotspot

Europe has so much talent. Only if some of it could be used in the mobile industry. Nokia used to be one of the Greats of Innovation and design.
