The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will support 25W fast charging, 3C certification reveals

16 June 2021
The current S20 FE does as well. Whether or not the new model will come with a charger in the retail package is unclear.

25W charging is fine with me. Higher wattage just calls for much faster battery degradation.

25w is "fast charging"?? Sammy do catch up, having used phones in the last year with 33W and even 65W charging, you need to know it makes a tangible difference to your experience with a phone. Am using a S20 FE now, and That's got 25w charging, so no advance from one generation to the next? Sad.

With 20fps difference is bad yes but still not as bad as exynos before 2100,especially in samsung flagships, they are very bad after throttling, I am sure 100% that the s10 exynos has less frame rates in pubg than the mi 6 that I have by atleast 8fps difference
Yes a 2 years snapdragon 835 (2017)was better (after throttling) than the exynos of (2019) (after throttling)
Wich is much worse than the 20fps difference this year

Oops I forgot... they are too invested in giving a subpar product for high price in order to make more profits. No wonder Xiaomi was the only one in 2020 to have increased their shipments... up by 17% compared to 2019. Samsung was second best at mere 2%.

i have S20, if samsung won't improve their charging speed with S22, i will leave for other brand. It's a joke that xiaomi and oneplus are charging like 3x faster!!

Samsung is still keeping the 25W charging rate? Even Sony can now give 30W for the latest Xperia phones. Why can't Samsung give 45W charging by default? The Note10+, S10 Lite, and S20 Ultra can easily do 45W charging despite having a 25W charger in the box.

My mi 11 Ultra stays even cooler with 67W charging. There is an inbuilt mechanism to limit charge if it overheats, on all phones. This all happens automatically, without needing input from the user. Yet some folks over here continue to spread fear and lies about issues that are non existent.

Within 5-10 minutes, one can easily get a days worth off mixed usage with the technology at our hands today. Thank you to all Chinese brands for pushing the bar, when other companies are solely looking to profit out of ancient hardware and battery technology.

Exynos 2100 also has worse thermal performance than Snapdragon 888.

I fired up Genshin Impact and it had lot of overheating and thermal throttling issues on S21 Ultra running Exynos. Lot of frames dropped during gameplay.
I heard Snapdragon version is slightly better but not as good as other Snapdragon 888 based phones since Samsung is downclocking the cpu.
Not the case with my Mi 11 Ultra, sure it gets warm like any other smartphone when playing Genshin Impact, but it did not overheat or thermal throttle, very few frame drops.
