The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will support 25W fast charging, 3C certification reveals

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may or may not be delayed, but the certification process is going forward – China’s 3C approved the use of the Samsung EP-TA800 charger for the SM-G9900, the local version of the S21 FE.

This charger maxes out at 25W and has been around for quite a while, it shipped with the Galaxy Note10 series. Whether or not the S21 FE actually includes said charger in the retail package is unclear.

The current Galaxy S20 FE came with a 15W charger (from the S10 days), but the question here is more about whether there will be a charger at all. For what it’s worth, the current model also supports 25W charging, if you have the right power brick (USB-PD and PPS are supported).

Like its predecessor, the S21 FE is expected to have a 4,500 mAh battery, so battery life should be comparable. The 5G version of the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888, whether or not we see an Exynos model is unclear (even the S20 FE 4G switched to Snapdragon).

The phone will have 6-8 GB of RAM and may be a fraction smaller than the current model with a 6.41” 120 Hz Super AMOLED display. The design will borrow for the S21 series as seen in renders.
