Not really. You think that companies like google and facebook make millions just by getting data for polishing "user experience"?
Any company, including windows with its OS gather data mostly to sell it. You have no idea how many things you can get from them. People think that user data is only some IP/HWID data but truth is that every company get information that make perfect image of user, how often you check specific informations, how often you search for something, time of doing that, do you hover your cursor over something, time spend reading something, images you use, most often used words etc etc. its all more precious than gold for companies because they can update their advertising and products placement based on your behaviour. And OS system data gathering is even more precise because it have access to what you do outside of internet.

Even today on Windows 10, we use keyboard for typing. If we type "T", "T" will be typed, simple as that. What diagnostic data does Microsoft need to collect from our typing then, what will they improve? Our name, email, every detail we type. What's the need for it?
All major USA companies are almost NSA front ends. Look how they destroyed Nokia, and Stephen Elop got a huge sum of money for his so called "Contribution to Nokia".
Everything you do on Windows 10, I can do on Windows 7. Name one useful thing that I can't. Let that sink in.

A way lot of s... moreAny modern OS collects usage data, which is needed to polish the user experience. I could understand that some people don't like this and see it as invasion of privacy. To me, it's a question of whether or not I could trust the OS DEV to not misuse the data.
So, for anyone who thinks that Windows 7, or even XP, is the best because of this, the person, I believe, is very free to install it and stay right there. One thing is for sure: you aren't getting them back as a new update! Being nostalgic and/or afraid of change, and overly suspicious; modern OSs are simply not for you!!!

A way lot of settings are so spread out in Windows 10, you can hardly find and disable all of them, without using specialised tools like Stop10, etc.. It should obviously be in one place but this won't happen, this defeats the purpose from MS' end.

I never said Windows 10 is slow. Now go through my posts, and understand that I'm complaining about update mess, bugs and privacy problems.
And no, Windows 7 is not laggy or slower on any reasonable machine. Animations can be removed or speeded up if you want. But did you try?

what is wrond with developers who creating this cheap simple look???
now days, all the devices have much better and stronger hardware , and they still putting this shitty simple look, cheap albino colors.
why, why >>? and yet, they still making the bigger screens to complete all the sitty devices.
good look and "smart" size doesn`t exist since ios4 and android 5 and windows 7. and smart size was when the screen had 5 inches, all the bigger phone needs efin bag not a pocket

You're confusing telemetry for Windows update delivery optimization (your PC downloads updates from random computers over the internet and in turn uploads updates for random computers to download). It's ridiculous to have it enabled by default but it can be turned off.

Windows 10 has failed to give a go... moreI have used windows from around 30 years ago the time when you needed like 50 floppy disc's to just install the OS on the computer. I dont know what issues your talking about with windows that is better as XP, 7 or 10 or what ever. I have never had any problems that i cant fix by my own.
Issues are always the fault of the filter that is between keyboard and seat. Who make these issues and then cant solve them cause not enough brainpower for it tto open google and search the issues and how to fix them. Internet is full of tutorials on everything. Just search them and fix your issues. Blaming everything from own dumbness dont make you look cool or you think it makes you cool ?
