Right click on taskpar From there News and interest - Turn Off
Then that is gone from it.
I hate these forced updates where they dont explain anything or question you that do you want this button there or not. Just adding them. Never mind that the News and interest dont show your local news or your interest anyways. You have used on a single computer that windows for 5 years and still it cant understand your interest and news

So windows 11 wants to be more like IOS by the looks of it like rounded corners and moving start button and the apps in the middle of the taskpar.

I don't have vmware installed. Not that it's a big deal. I'm downloading the image now. Can't wait to experience it myself.

There can't be windows 11. I was just a kid when win 10 came out yet I clearly remember Microsoft saying it's the last version of windows. This is probably just a major update to windows 10 then.

Hello Life, 16 Jun 2021windows vista looked even better.. does that mean it is bet... moreYup, I agree with you. Windows 10 has now matured so much that I don't miss Windows 7 at all. Heck, I even stopped dual-booting Windows with Linux and now only use Linux through virtualization software only.

I still believe to this day that for Desktop experiences, 7 was the way to move forward.
And for mixed experiences (tablets, 2-in-1, etc), 8.1 was pretty much perfect
10 has neither the looks, or the experiences, and this 11 seems to go the same way

The ISO is all over the web and it takes like ten minutes to install it under any VM. Can't GSMArena do that themselves instead of relying on other websites? What a shame.
Also, there's nothing to see here. This is still W10 with a slight facelift.

cyber, 16 Jun 2021windows 7 still beats anything by style,this win 11 screens... moreI really wish windows 10 had the option to switch between an ulta-simple design option for average users and a technical/professional design layout that shows more details with the windows 7 like design.
Also I having more flexibility over the OS appearance like you can do in linux would be a huge plus.
