So there goes that techie community that made this brand bigger from years ago. These will literally be rebrands at this point while omitting the same features the community has been begging for to return.
This move stinks. This is why I wanted to make my own crowd-funded phone company with XDA collaboration. It just stinks how much these companies don't care unless you know people (I couldn't get any manufacturer to even give me a quote).

Aierlan, 16 Jun 2021Why would Vivo be involved? Oppo has always owned 100% of t... moreR&D integration has existed for years.
OP6 series based on Oppo R series.
7 Pro based on Vivo Nex.
8 Pro based on Find X2 Pro.
But none of the previous OP were just rebranded phones.
Now they are.
Nord N100 is Oppo A53, Nord 2 is Realme X9 Pro.
That is the problem.
Imagine if all upcoming OnePlus are just rebranded phones instead of being OnePlus phones?

Oppo's camera, display and audio tuning is way better than what Oneplus have now. So this maybe a good news.

Oppo has always owned 100% of the shares in OP and always shared resources with them. Vivo has always been separate. More integration is probably a good thing as OP can get access to even more of Oppo's technology

So, this means the OP10 you to buy in april/2022, maybe just a Oppo Reno in the end.
That is awful.
Vivo is clever to stay outta this.
