Those large glass bump area because the module consist of main camera, ToF, & flash. Even if the glass only cover the main lens while separating the other two, the bump will be the same because thickness of the 1" sensor.

For that kind of refresh rate, I would solely focus it on gaming. At least during PC gaming, the difference between 240Hz and other more mainstream refresh rates are totally different. It really does show much more smoothness.

[deleted post]If you really judge a camera sensor size by the bump, you really need to get a life. Anyone can make a bump-free smartphone, but it won't be thick and thickness is the one that actually determines how big the camera sensor size.

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2021Is 1 inch tiny for a sensor? It covers roughly 1/6th the area of a mobile phone so no it is not tiny. I don't know why it's so big.

AnonD-986036, 17 Jun 2021Too expensive. Only Huawei deserves to be with Leica. Other... moreHonestly, Leica's influence on Huawei's flagships has been pretty much negligible since P30 series apart from some exclusive filters and the lens quality assessment part. IMO Leica does deserve a new partner that will actually respect their colour science more, and Sharp is a good candidate as their current situation regarding the software image processing is very similar to Huawei before P9 series had come out (i.e. Not so good).

So what's the difference between this and the Sharp phone except for branding? I take it it will also run Sharp's software.

that's why all cool things only available in Japan, they don't complain about price

At 240 Hz, its a kind of gaming phone? or normal usage?
And what cooling does it have?
Design is unique but still some of its specs seem odd to me.
