I want my Fitbit versa 3 to be compatible with miui, I'm sick of having to reboot both Fitbit and phone, switching Bluetooth on and off and clearing cache every time I want to update my Fitbit app with my data, sort it out.

AnonD-1004713, 17 Jun 2021No, majority of people that buy Xiaomi phones buy them for ... moreThe average consumer DO NOT look at specs sheets first they couldn't care less

    Price first

The average Joe isn't tech savvy

The only "spec" they might know is 100 megapixels

Kcee, 17 Jun 2021I really don't understand your point... Good things re... moreNo, majority of people that buy Xiaomi phones buy them for their hardware and their prices. Period.

If you look at which models sell the most, you will see there only cheap Xiaomi models. If people will had been interested more in software, they would have bought more expensive Xiaomi models, because on those you get to have the best MiUi experience.

The average consumer (which makes the majority of market share), looks first at the spec sheet and then at the price, to see if it's worth it. They care less if it says MiUi 12, 11 or latest MiUi 12.5. Many of them don't even know the difference.

John, 17 Jun 2021Wow, that is a brave thing to do. The fanboys would be real... moreYeah right.. those fanboys who always say that a 100-200€ Xiaomi phone is very smooth and lag free, or that MiUi 12.5 is bloatware free.
Hahaha. They never had any Xiaomi phone. They just talk from what they see on YouTube (probably on channels that are paid to say and show good things about Xiaomi). Otherwise they will know that those things are not true.
Not saying all Xiaomi phones are bad. But continuosly defending the brand like is the next big thing that happened to the mobile world, just because they released a few good models worth buying, is just comic.

Problem : Caller number (If unknown calls) or Name (if know calls) is not showing up on screen while getting a call on Non-Data sim.
I am using 2 sim (Jio4G, Vodafone). My data is on with Jio4G and Vodafone is just another sim. so While my phone is locked and somebody call on Vodafone I am not able to see the Caller number / Name and also only call receiver/reject button was showing on screen that too not working while I try to receive or reject call and phone hang on that blank screen.
FYI : There is a setting in "Sim Card & mobile network" - > "Use mobile data during VoLTE calls on the secondary SIM" has to be enable all the time to see number/name of the caller when receiving call on non data sim. but why would I recharge my both the sim with data pack?
Not sure what is the problem. Can somebody tell me the solution??
One more issue I notice I have set a different ringtone on both sim but keep on receiving calls with MI classic ringtone i.e. setting of ringtone also not happening.
Really pissed off with these problems.
              thanks in advance

AnonD-1003038, 17 Jun 2021I don't know why ppl hate MIUI so hard. I actually rea... moreI came to MIUI from stock android and love it on my Poco X3 NFC. I'm a pretty average phone user doing the usual everyday stuff and honestly don't know what all these bugs are that folks go on about all the time? The phone is plenty fast enough, does what I want it to and the extra features in MIUI are really useful compared to stock android where an app may have needed downloading to get the feature. My absolute favourite thing is the ability to turn the screen off while listening to music on YouTube. I'm not saying it's perfect, there is the odd glitch occasionally but nothing that ruins the experience and when you can buy a phone under £200 with the features this phone has them I'm more than willing to forgive an occasional glitch. Also it takes literally 2 minutes to turn off all the ads in MIUI which is another thing folks always moaning about. I'm no fanboy to any brand or skin but have to say Xiaomi is my current favourite manufacturer for their price to specs value across all their model range. Not planning on upgrading yet but would definitely go for the Poco F3 if I was.

John, 17 Jun 2021Wow, that is a brave thing to do. The fanboys would be real... moreFanboys are always angry.

                    AnonD-1004713, 17 Jun 2021Why?Overheating mediocre phone.

MIUI 12.5 is a huge letdown on battery department. overheat, slow charging speed, massive battery drain on usual usage. no single improvement and 12.5 UI is ugly. revert to 12.0.9

zaryan, 17 Jun 2021I am definitely good with android oneI agree with you. Stock AOSP UI with well-optimized software is still the way forward. Sure that custom UI allows self-personalization, but it wouldn't make much sense if it doesn't have well-optimized software in the first place. That is why Sony and ASUS phone does so well with battery endurance rating.

Shichigats, 17 Jun 2021Remove the ads and optimize the overall performance and UI ... moreIf Xiaomi removes the ads on Redmi and Poco phones, they won't be able to sell the phone cheaply. Still, at least that gives advanced users like me great fun to flash custom ROMs on the latest flagship-grade Redmi or Poco models without breaking the bank.

Remove the ads and optimize the overall performance and UI like (OxygenOS) Oneplus skin UI
