        Meh UI got so many bugs and ads that they need a new team to iron out, if that's what they Really really gonna do, otherwise, would it be a gimmick to sway the users? Let's see.

            Even if he lives under a rock, the update will arrive to him

              For starters, maybe get rid of the "ads" that is encorporated/embedded in the core of the MIUI os - I mean the darn xiaomi devices is already not peanut prices anymore.. but still wanna generate more by enforcing ads on your developed custom OS (such greed).

              MIUI "used" to be 'user-focused' back in the days (prior to MI 3 era) - but after MI 3 device was out, it started becoming more of volume sale targeting company, with bad quality devices or devices that dont last for very long, more of a use and throw kind devices.

              So yeah.. that said, good luck to xiaomi for trying different strategies to retain customers and their loyalty.

                Hopefully is not only for marketing purposes and this team will actually implement some changes to the Ui.
                MiUi skin is customizable and full of animations and gimmicks (and to some extent that can be a good thing), but on lower spec phones is laggy. Of course, on more powerful phones it works good, but then again, so does any other skin out there on premium models.
                And before anyone comments about this, know that I have in my possession, a lower spec Xiaomi phone and also a more premium spec Xiaomi phone (both on MiUi 12). And the difference is night and day between them (when talking about MiUi experience, not something else).

                For example, Realme Ui works better on lower spec phones. Just for info.
                Of course, is a less customizable skin, with fewer animations and bloatware. Maybe that is why.

                    And I have 2021/04/01 security update wich is april security update with miui 12.0.5.0 stable, I swear I have april security update and it works flawlessly with 0 bug, and its very fast

Only bug i found is when the night mode photos is processing in the camera app, then you leave the camera app, then the night mode photos will not be saved.

                        I have a Mi Note 10 that was a well priced replacement phone for me, but the software is a rabbits warren of twists and turns. The MIUI "OS" is a series of add-ons on add-ons. Control of items is often buried deep in the onion. Peeling each layer is too tiring. To compete beyond the hardware level, Xiaomi needs to shed their bloatware and remains of the adware programs. The MIUI has no elegance for the end user. We just want you use the phones not become a software engineer. Offer a MIUI skin over the Android operating system.

                          Sometimes ios, oxygen os skin, one ui skin and many other skins for me miui is the best skin and after it comes ios (the jailbreaked version)

                                        It's the best thing an oem can do to raise sales since these days all of them starting to look alike in hardware department . Kudos for xiaomi.
