YUKI93, 18 Jun 2021Instead of banking on the under-display front camera, maybe... moreAgree 100%.
I absolutely love the look of the Find X, and I still want to buy one but it's quite pricey in my country. The Magic 2 was also good since it's halves were curved slightly which looked better than the flat & cheap looking Mix, not to mention the Magic also came with IR camera for face unlock.
I was also interested in the Reno 2 (unfortunate that they ditched the pop-up on both the Find & Reno line-ups, they should've kept at least one model between the 2 with a pop-up), but sadly 730G is more of a side-grade for me and probably won't last 3/4+ years like my current SD820 has (otherwise it's perfect--notchless screen, proper triple camera, OIS, HP jack, glass/metal, mSD slot, no camera bump. USB 3.0, unique design, etc)

Mi Mix seems to always be some sort of experimental device. Last Mi Mix was that slider thing, this one will apparently have UD (underdisplay camera). Pricetag of more than Mi11 Ultra is a bit of a stinker though, fancy UD or not. Mi11 Ultra wasn't cheap to begin with and it's pretty standard phone in terms of exotic or unique features.

If it doesn't have a headphone jack or microSD card slot, then it's another overpriced flagship missing features that prevent it from being a COMPLETE smartphone.

As others have echoed, slider would have been better.

                Foldable?

OK good innovation but I still prefer popup

Instead of banking on the under-display front camera, maybe Xiaomi should refine the sliding front camera mechanism and make it more reliable than before. We really haven't seen such a cool feature for a while since the Mi Mix 3, Honor Magic 2, and Oppo Find X/X Lamborghini.

FHD+ is perfectly normal for a smartphone screen. I don't know everyone is going crazy for QHD. The differences are unrecognizable, it take more energy and it's another thing that the phone has to push.

Mix series was always unusual. But this time first UD camera is already in the market and other are on their way. So they will try to impress by price only

The slider was much better and unlike the UDC who will flood the market, it is a missing feature.
They could simply make a slider but who DON'T split the phone in half, rather being a plate that slide on the back of the phone and who has the cameras on top who sit on the phone top who has a dent on the top's back.
It would make it entirely water-resistant and could also cover the main cameras when not in use, both protecting them and helping with privacy.

This would be much better and cheaper than any underdisplay camera gimmick while keeping the Mi Mix 3 legacy.

Well its too early for UDC Under Display Camera technology.
First they should made it perfect before they use it in any phone.
And secondly curved thin display is a bug no.
Expensive phones with zero durability display.
Only a super rich buussinessman wouldnt care much about.
For any mediocre person who just want the best of best just to shine among family and friends would like and love to have a durable screen idealy something a bit better than FHD+ because its going to be a costly device.
