This one is to Sony and all other Android manufactures: If you want my money then please, do get your act together. I'm not saying you must do your personalization to every single phone you ever made at each Android update, but you really must provide the alternative of an Android AOSP rom which is regularly updated.
In particular to Sony, my last years top-end phone (which is more powerful than this years lowest-end) will not be getting an update from 4.0->4.1 yet this years crappiest phone is getting Android 4.1 because of marketing strategy.
No dice, no cake Sony! That makes your High-ends turn to Crap-ends.

Yes, Sony's ICS build is heavily skinned. Unlike others (eg. Sam****), look more like the vanilla version of ICS, an example is the Main Menu. That explains why Sony has to take a slightly longer time in rolling out the updates.
The wait is definitely worth it =D

Ok, i was a bit disappointed! i mean, J is much cheaper in hardware compared to 2011 line, specially Arc S, there is a clear reason for no JB, they're Sony Ericsson! but still, who knows what happens!! JB is said to be more smother on lower devices than ICS, & i owe an X10, who remember the GB update for 2010 line??? maybe they changed their mind...

People go to XDA developers am get JB for your phones. There are a lot of people there who are porting latest android to almost all devices. I have JB on my Arc from August i think.

Not ONE Android manufacturer can keep all their devices updated. This is the problem with having too many Android devices out there.

This will definitely reduce Sony fans. And I am one of them. It would have been okay if they rolled out a great ICS update. But they didn't! The end of me being an xperia fan.

What abt x10i=2.3 gingerbread only....plzzzz m waiting
