NEITHER OF THE ANDROID OEM'S can keep all their devices updated. WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE LEARN THIS?
XDA (Android's Savior) can't save every lost device either.
Once you people learn to appreciate your devices as they are from the store instead of as they could be in the future, THEN maybe this kind of information wouldn't bother you.

What happened to all of you saying "Sony always updates their devices"?
Go back a few weeks and some of you that are disappointed here were praising Sony for keeping their devices updated.
What happened to that?

This is why Sony I'm moving to the Nexus phone as my next phone. In the meantime, will root my Ray and get rid of the bloatware you don't allow to move to sd card that's clogging my ROM. And then as soon JB from cygen is stable, flash it on the Ray.
On youtube one can already see Ray with JB running much faster than with ICS and sony heavy skin.
Besides you have an 18 month agreement in which you should update the phone. Sooner than later we will see people taking companies to court for not upgrading their phones to the most recent os during the 18 months agreement.

This is BS with that "user experience": all the phones that currentlu run ICS are perfectly able to run JB.
SONY could just be honest and normally says it's not worth their time and resources to support those devices, this is the true.

AnonD-43789, 19 Oct 2012And this is the reason why I like Apple over Android...:why can't apple fans STFU...
your so called latest iOS6 has so called 'new features' which are already present on bloody eclair(2.1) and froyo(2.2)
heck even gingerbread has many features that the iO6 doesn't have.iOS is a joke...
all said and done I do still think that this doesn't give an excuse to the manufacturers for delaying upgrades
