          Aierlan, 25 Jun 2021You're probably right! Exactly right! A niche product for nobody. This is one of the reasons why Sony doesn't bother with Xperia proper marketing, advertisement, proper timing of releases / start sales, availability in the word etc, etc.

Once again, I do not hear any difference between mid range Wireless earbuds (Galaxy Buds+, JBL Live 300, Anker Soundcore Life P2, Jabra Elite 65t - what I tried so far) and any wired ones (I used to had heaps different ones from $30 to $150). No difference whatsoever. The same thing about smartphone screens - 1080p, 2k, 3k, 4k they are all the same for me. The only difference I see is brightness level and colours reproduction. That's it!

People understand that the resolution of media and the resolution of the display are two different things. You can play 4K videos on a 1080p screen. People understand that the videos will be scaled down to 1080p to match the display's resolution. You made a simple thing unnecessarily more complicated by your poor choice of words.

                    No one ever said that wireless headphone sounds better than a wired headphone. I used to own a lot of wireless headphones before including the expensive models, so I can easily attest to that.

                      Yes, when you play the video in 8K, it's still 8K, but you're not really playing it/viewing it in 8K. You're limited to the resolution the device has. To experience the true 8K, you need the device to support it. It's just semantics at this point.

                              Everyone here should know that you can play the video in whatever resolution, but you're only truly gonna play/view the video in the max supported resolution of your device.

Playing 8K content has nothing to do with the resolution of the display. If you play 8K content on a 4K display, the content will be scaled down to 4K. You confuse playing with rendering.

                                      When did I ever say I'm trying to watch 8K content on a tiny screen? Don't put words in my mouth. You also do realize how expensive 8K TVs are right? Not everyone has the money or is willing to spend that much on a TV.
