If they used an outline with a punch hole or none at all people wouldn't even know the outline is representing a phone. It would just be some rectangular shape. Basic people complaining over notch, but Apple damn well knows it's their trademark look, whether you like it or not.

If this is the case, Why everytime when android company gives a list for their supported devices, android users are all over the forums whining why my 2 years old phone is not getting this new OS when it's perfectly capable of running it?
You are not fooling anyone, everyone want to their expensive devices to learn new tricks over the years, it makes you feel you get lot value for your money and then you propably support same company in future too.
Why you guys let these android companies get away with this? There's no real reason why your old phone wouldn't get new updates expect the fact that others doesn't have ecosystem like Apple which makes money for them no matter if you upgrade or keep your device for many years. Android OEMs only have those unit sales, so they have to sell new phones and that's why they give you crappy support.
But alteast it's good to see many have woken up, because every year less and less high end android phones been sold, so it just shows more and more are woken up by this scam and they want value for their money so they go for iPhone.

No they won't remove it, Face ID tech needs notch, it will be smaller this year.

Have they finally made the decision to remove the notch ? We are in 2021 and we are moving towards 2022, so no one has a smartphone with a notch anymore. We've seen the notch appear over the last 3 generations, and it hasn't been pretty at all. It's time to release it now for a better experience with the screen.

They stick to a single simple design for both their hardware and software and keep refining it each year. Yes an almost 4 year old iPhone X still looks like a current gen iPhone compared to 4 year old Android phones which look like they belong in a museum.

Android fans really are obsessed with Apple news and then bashing them. Got nothing else better to do with their lives. What's sad is in case their pathetic Android phone breaks, they got nowhere to go. Buy another Android with only a 2-3 update path.

People are not buying iPhones because there are Apple made, people are buying them because of IOS.
If Apple will start selling Android phones with the same high price and not so good features, very few people will buy them. If Xiaomi or Samsung will start making IOS phones, but with very good pricing and the same IOS experience, people will probably buy those more.
I think that is why people are buying iPhones. They want something different than Android. It doesn't mean is better or worse, is just something different.
Different people have different preferences. We just need to understand and accept them.
