Samsung Galaxy Watch4 to come with body composition monitor

I know Samsung... they just forgot to mention that you need to buy their new Galaxy Tab S tablet in order to have body composition monitor working.
They did the same with Galaxy Active 2 - it has ECG so I bought it for my girlfriend. Still not working because they "forgot" to mention I have to buy her also new Samsung phone.

Brian, 27 Jun 2021Can't trust Samsung on their "upcoming features&q... morei dont know where are you from, it took a while for the ECG come to Brazil but it arrived into Active2 as promised (i think they must have some problems with each individual regulatory agencies across the countries), and its not a game changer. About the battery you can buy a replacement in two years from most known websites if you really need ( i have mine for 1.5 year now and still very good). The only downside of the watch its the water resistant feature, if you go swim with the watch probably will enter in a reboot loop ( happened to me twice), fortunately it was fixed after removing the back cover and using a hair-drier on the soaked components

Can't trust Samsung on their "upcoming features". It's been 2 years since Watch Active 2 has launched and ECG was going to be available "soon". In another 2 years my watch will die, as battery life has deteriorated sharply. I have learned that whenever you buy a gadget, buy it judging on it's current status and not promised status.

I keep seeing comments from people saying they need all those things and have to use them and hinting that people who do not use all those features have issues because it's a feature and therefore must be used. Light in every room is a feature of my house and I don't leave them on all day...

Any $40 scale does body composition, probably more accurately than a watch currently can. So, who cares?
The glucose monitoring would have been a killer feature, but I guess Apple will introduce it in 2022 and Samsung will drift further into being irrelevant in the watch space and competing with the cheap Chinese watches.

I assume that men are the majority of buyers, and with the (this) design, many men will buy other more masculine looking brand.

Never trust samsung... till now no promised features in India in watch 2 and 3..so will never buy 4 ever
