Remember Hitler started cleaning up factories and ended "cleaning up" human beings. Nobody should have that much power even if said power is supposeded to be used "for good".
IMO web 2.0 companies should die. We are in the part of history where they become evil. Here's hoping that web 3.0 matures quickly enough to drown them using their decentralized methods.
The day decentralized search (running on Ethereum or similar) becomes a reality, it is the moment we get the Internet back. Google already censors way too much and they are fully going the Chinese way nowadays. True evil.

Maybe the MSM weren't willing to give any credit to Project Veritas after they've spent years discrediting them as "Far-Right conspiracy theorists" so covering a story where they are taking on Fox would possibly get your average CNN viewer to start thinking for themselves

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2021I switched to DuckDuckGo last year and have no plans to go ... moreI use only youtube for music along with an ad blocker try adguard adblocker or super adblocker for you tube for windows. Some weeks back my adguard adblocker was not blocking ads on you tube video so then I downloaded super adblocker for youtube. That same week there was an update for adguard adblocker after it had finished updating I gave it another try and vola it works. Both these adblockers are good.

Google should alert itself for giving unreliable search results. Next google will be your doctor but instead of getting a cure it will direct you to big pharm to pop more pill resulting in you getting sickers & finally dying.

Sure, for those who still use it, it doesn't really matter, they'll believe whatever they read as long as it goes along with their ideas and ideologies. For the rest of us though, search engines like DuckDuckGo work way better with light years ahead in terms of privacy and lack of data tracking. I only use Google once a week now when I need something extremely local in a different country.

It's sh*t like this that will make centralized search go the way of the dodo. Nobody trusts you Google, NOBODY.
Good thing that dapps are a thing and with the coming efficiency/scalability upgrade Ethereum will be able to host full search engines on it, why not. No wonder that blockhains are so maligned in the pop media (and some sheep follow), they *know* they will be the end of them (good luck in cencoring or controlling a decentralized search engine running on Ethereum 2.0, say, or any other such blockchain, lol).
I suggest western oligarchs to join their equivalent in China, that's the last place where their ways would be deemed acceptable.

However that CNN technical director appeared to be bragging rather than stating CNN's internal agenda.
