Easy solution - stop using Google. Although I am an Android user, except the mandatory "Play" account and Youtube I am "Google free". Works well for me with other services.

I switched to DuckDuckGo last year and have no plans to go back.

Google Search has really deteriorated in recent years. Too many results from the same site when I search for something. Annoying “suggestions” cluttering up the results page. Info boxes with maps, Youtube videos and ads cluttering up more of the page. A very frustrating experience for the user.

so american news outlet will be marked unreliable?

Who guarantees this algorithm to be correct and not politically, socially motivated?
Plus, can google even guarantee reliability at a political propaganda level in various countries?

Google Algorithms have been proven to be wrong in the past. Searches like "India terrorist" and "stupid president" have yielded inaccurate, unproven results.

And as usual with Google, they will explain it in a language and apologise after the damage has been done, explaining things like "Google works with a continually improving algorithm that may.... ".
Make mistake, Sorry, business goes on, repeat. (and someday, "make mistake" will become "feel free to make mistake")

Google's condescension and audacity to presume that users need them to "fact-check" their web data is a poignant irony. Even if they weren't as effective at fair moderation as paraplegics in distance-swimming it's offensive and socially damaging on a global scale; shame.

Aside from Adoogle's sinister data trafficking practices, and shunting ads on screens, it was first and foremost a search engine that acted to serve as a global signpost. Increasingly however, Adoogle is beginning to push its own agenda (for its own self-serving purposes and survival) by skewing results to fit its own narrative.

Fundamentally, Google is a corrupt bar stirred.
